It is very great Tower fan. It gave a lot of cool & strong air out, compare with my old tower fans. I got a good deal of $55 from The Home Depot with free shipping and fast delivery. I am very happy with this fan purchase. I will buy another same model # 4443 (40 in) again for my sister if It will be sale back to $55 (Now the price go up to $65)

Great fan…airflow is even from top to bottom….some other Lasko fans do not aim air low enough. Also quieter than regular Lasko Tower Hi velocity fan.

Sleek looking. I like that it is talk and the air coming out of the grill covers a lot of area at a time. Simple to operate and really does a good job even on the lowest setting.

The size is perfect. The amount of air it pushes out is amazing. The quietness is wonderful. It's the best fan I've ever had. In fact to call it a fan almost seems like a derogatory statement. It's more like a state of the art high performance air handler. I could not be happier.

Haven't put it together yet because when UPS delivered it and ran so I couldn't ID the driver the box was damaged. It was torn open across the top corner and Homedepot had not packed it in another box to protect it so shipped it out with no extra protection for the fan. The base has a scratch the styrofoam at both top and bottom where broken in half from being thrown around by UPS. I took photos of just how UPS handles purchases and this wasn't cheap and should never have been send by UPS since I've had more than one package thrown and damaged onto my porch over the years. Home depot needs to get rid of UPS and use Fedex if they expect to keep customers doing online purchases. Haven't tried the fan and the top is out of alignment like it's damaged with something loose rattling around when I turned it over so something got damaged.

This fan really moves the air. The side vents really allow more air to be drawn in across the blades. Works great on lowest setting. A bit noisy on medium and high in small rooms. My mom came over for a visit and now wants to order one.

This fan really puts out a lot of air at a reasonably low level of noise. it's everything it's supposed to be. The only reason it doesn't get A 5 is because it doesn't have a timer.

I ordered two of these fans last year and both boxes were badly damaged in shipping. One was so damaged that I had to contact Lasko – twice – to get the missing hardware for assembling the base. Once assembled, though, the fans work well. I use fans to circulate the air from the AC and keep it at a higher temp. These fans don’t put out quite as much air as the noisier HVB model, but the airflow on medium is sufficient. Also, the oscillating feature seems better engineered than on the HVB as it has not died in the year that I’ve owned the fans. The only other feature I’d wish for is a timer, like on the HVB models. But overall, I’ve been pleased with the fans. I guess I forgot what a hassle it was to get the missing hardware from Lasko, so I ordered another one this year. Again, the box arrived badly damaged and hardware is missing. These fans need to be packaged in a hard outer cardboard box for shipping! I’m not going to call Lasko customer service again. This fan goes back to Home Depot tomorrow.

Needed a fan due to upstairs a/c not working properly after unit was cycled off due to a high temperature event. Bought 2 tower fans at the local HD but they barely cooled off a spare bedroom. Returned one of those units and based on reviews ordered this fan. Love it!!

I went to several stores looking for a tower fan and had no luck- being in the heat of the summer the options were slim pickings. I ended up buying a Holmes 30in tower fan at target and when I got it home and set it up, it ended up being so cheap and wobbly. I'm very impressed with my Lasko oscillating fan though. It's so powerful and sturdy- it feels like it's an air conditioner!

Moves a lot of air at a moderately quiet sound level. Solid construction and controls (w/remote). We'd buy it again.

Aloha! As a retired engineer, I am quite impressed with the particular design of this product. It is basically a blower that pulls in cool air at the bottom and channels it up to the top with a very well placed series of baffles. I could go on with other features however, the bottom line is ....get this product...you won't be sorry! Aloha, Keoni

On to low setting it creates very little noise but a nice solid concentrated stream of cool air. I keep mine on low most of the time since the medium and high speeds are very powerful but the medium speed's noise is still very tolerable. This is the best fan I've owned the only other fan that puts a comparable amount of air is the Lasko HVB but it sounds like a leaf blower and it's also really clumsy compared to this fan. I have two of these now, one for the bedroom and one for the living room.

Very glad I purchased this fan - it really moves the air around and cools my place off. I had both of my older fans die at once and needed to replace them. I like tower type fans - small footprint for a small apartment - but I wasn't sure which one I'd like best. I'll be buying another one of these later in the year for my art studio.

Having owned one of this identical fan for several years (and still running strong), we decided to add a couple more to our home. After a quick search, we were amazed that Home Depot still carried them since this is the store we originally purchased our first one from. This fan has the best range of settings and power output. On high / medium, it will help you sleep like a baby through the night. The buttons light up if needed, there's a built in nightlight also, and the remote is very handy. For the price, this is the only fan model we care to own.

This fan is powerful. The added bonus for me is that it's louder than other fans but in a good way. The noise is not the sound of the motor or the moving blades. It's the noise of the moving air. It's not an annoying motor whine but moving air which creates a great white noise which blocks out sound which is perfect for sleeping. On low it moves as much air as most other fans move on high and the sound level is about the same but less annoying. On high this fan will blow you away with the amount of air it moves. I use the middle setting and it's great. It rotates about 90 degrees which is plenty in most settings especially since it will move air around the room anyway with it's power. Putting it together was a breeze and only took a few minutes. All you have to do is snap the base together and insert about 8 screws.

Good looking fan, but it has 2 flaws. First the remote has a very narrow infra-red beam, I have to wave the remote in the direction of the fan, while waving it back and forth. It's difficult to make changes to functions. Secondly, the low speed setting blows more than any tower fan I've owned, it will chill you and be uncomfortable in a 72 degree room. The high speed is great for flying kites! It would be a great fan for the desert.

I've had this fan for about a week and it's working great. It moves a lot of air and is no louder than my mini fan (it may actually be quieter...). It doesn't rotate as much as I would like for it to, but hey, at least it rotates.
