Summary: Seems expensive for a fan but worth it. High output and efficient. At first glance $50 sounds a lot for a fan you benefit from having this designed in USA. I chose this fan because of the blower motor design over the traditional fan as seen in traditional fans. Blower motors have a tendency to have a higher output with less noise. This device is very efficient as I have not seen the power factor drop no less than 94% (higher is better) on the lowest setting (highest setting is better). Meaning only 6% of the power being used by it is wasted. Only negative to this review is that one of the devices I received appeared to be an open box unit and had missing screws for the mounting plate.

It’s been an extremely hot summer so am glad to have ordered this fan. It’s a good fan but noisy. Read all the reviews about how quiet this fan was, but mine is noisier than two other fans I own. Still glad to have it and it does cool.

Received this Lasko Hybrid fan yesterday, intending to use it to move air in our living room while watching TV in the evening. The fan seems well made, was easy to assemble, and is very stable due to the design that puts the motor near the bottom of the unit. The fan moves A LOT OF AIR. Sadly, that is one of the reasons why I will be returning the fan to Home Depot. Having never had a tower fan before, I didn't know how to judge which brand and model to choose. Two reasons why I am returning this fan: 1. The fan moves A LOT OF AIR. It just blows too hard for our needs. It is now 18 ft. away and on the lowest setting, the air blowing on me is just too much. I can't use the oscillation feature, because my wife can't stand to have air blowing on her. 2. The fan is noisy, and not just because of the large volume of air being moved. The fan motor is actually loud. So if you need to move A LOT OF AIR and are not concerned about the noise level, this fan might be a good choice for you.

This fan did not disappoint. It has plenty of power and all of the settings that I need.

I bought this model bc other reviews said it had a strong blast of air. I already have a gentle Honeywell tower fan but needed more This Lasco model is perfect for our open living area. It sure is strong. It is compact and really does the job.

Love it. Live in Las Vegas, Nv and it works great. Delivers cool air all the time.

I’m so glad I read the reviews on another Lasko fan that I was going to purchase. One of the reviewer’s wrote that this particular fan was much better than the one I originally was going to buy (The other had a woodgrain finish). I am so happy with this purchase! On the low setting, the air moves so quietly and gets the job done. When set on high, it’s a little louder, but wow you feel like you’re in a wind tunnel! It cools the room off quickly. I have two other tower fans, but this one is a much better built fan and the quality is amazing. I intend to purchase another one soon! It took me five minutes to screw the base to the fan. Super simple.

Easy to set up, has three different speeds, and is a powerful fan. I don't ever even use it on the highest, usually only on the lowest, sometimes in between. Good product to buy!

This is definitely a powerful tower fan. Pushes a lot of air, especially on the highest setting. The downside to this is that the fan is quite loud. Even on the lowest setting, this fan is louder than any other tower fan I've used and it is also louder than many conventional standing fans.

This is my favorite Lasko fan. Im on my second one, after a couple of years the first one I got stopped oscillating, I bought a different Lasko model to replace it but the air flow wasn’t very high like this model’s. Good size, good white noise sound, convenient remote control.

after reading lots of reviews and customer experiences plus chatting with the manufacturer, I purchased the model and could not be happier with my choice. It has great air output, not noisy at lower levels but good for white noise in condo living and a good value for the price. The most helpful way to choose a fan is to seek out videos of consumers testing these at home, I was able to hear the unit but also see the quality of the air flow. So glad I did not go with perhaps the "prettier" options, those don't blow enough air to make difference. I use this in my open living/dining and bedroom and never need to put on highest setting.

This fan is great except for the very bright blue light that you cannot turn off, I have it in my bedroom so I have a hat on top to block out the light. Also the package box was destroyed on delivery so I was scared it was broken but it was just the box.

This fan is great for small rooms, like bedrooms, office rooms, or a dining room maybe, its quiet and I love that, just on the lowest fan speed it's enough to cool my bedroom. I used to have a small AC unit in my room and the noise level is about the same probably a little less. Simple construction nothing complicated, though it's hard to move around on the floor once connected to the base, doesn't slide well and it's kind of wobbly when you pick it up, also the cord is short for the machine which could make it inconvenient depending where outlets are in the room you place it. And when I received it the box was busted up, torn and punctured in some places, so check the machine and make sure it works before completely tearing everything up. Overall it's sleek, quiet, and does its job for its price! A nice fan :) !

I have used this item for over two months. It does the job. It isn't that loud and it moves a lot if air. The night light helps illuminate those walks to the bathroom and is an asset.

I would rate this higher, if I could assess overall reliability and length of service. Fan has excellent features and seems well-made. Presently, I am very pleased with the purchase.

This fan blows hard even at the lowest setting. Very happy i did my research and found this hybrid.

I had this item delivered and it just did not work. The lights come on when the power button is pressed but you do not hear any parts moving or feel any air.

Nice fan, quieter than most fans. Nice rotation and the nightlight feature is handy. Although the on/off switch is bright enough. The only fault I find, the air flow is only about 3/4 the length of the vent. I wish the description would indicate the air flow dimensions.

Moves a huge amount of air even in the low setting. Reasonably quiet and no problem sleeping with it on. Highly recommend it.

Just as described. It's awesome -- far better than the Honeywell Tower Fan I bought from and returned to Target. Lasko is a far superior brand for heating and cooling.
