So far the air condition works. Great! It fit in the sleeves just like the old one I had for 24 years, which still work just getting outdated and rusty on the outside otherwise still work good hopefully I have the same results with the new one!

Best Air Conditioner I Ever Owned.
I bought and installed this air conditioner two weeks ago in the middle of a heat wave that hit New York City and it outperformed any air conditioner I ever owned. It cooled my living room and kitchen (more than 500 square feet) in less than 5 minutes.

Extremely load and does not cool as advertised
Installed unit in 250 sq. ft. room, even though advertised to cool up to 700 sq. ft. Does not cool room lower than 67’f at lowest temp setting and highest fan speed no matter how long running and takes hours to even cool room to 70’f. Unit is extremely loud and rattles badly. Called LG to raise concerns and was told by customer rep that the outlet and breakers need to be upgraded to 230v/20 amps, even though manual stipulates 230v/15 amps, which is what I had. Hired electrician to upgrade outlet and breakers to 230v/20 amps for $523.00 and made absolutely no difference. LG sent out contracted appliance technician and they said it’s working normal. Please don’t waste your money on this product.

Air conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Landlord wouldn't replace the air conditioner so we purchased this one. Energy efficient. Love it. Electric bill cut I half. Works like a dream. Love the remote.

Bought this unit to replace an old AC. The cord was to short to reach outlet. Had to pay an electrician 250.00 to move the outlet 12 Inches. After moving outlet and plugging new AC in I was disappointed that It did not cool the room very well. there is no cooling control. It's either on or off. the setting is just telling the AC when to shut off. Very Disappointed in this LG unit. Maybe I just got a bad unit? I would not recommend.

Fan speed does not seem to change
Timely shipping from Home Depot. Installed with some updated electrical work. Unfortunately, the fan speed on this unit does not seem to change with different fan speeds selected (there seems to just be one fan speed). Our previous LG units had a noticeable change in fan speed when different speeds were selected, so I was surprised to find that this unit had an issue.

That was the second ac that I purchased . The first one was plugged in and made a loud noise. The second one plugged in and didn't get blow any air. So I will be staying away from that brand name.

needed a new unit and wanted a 220 power which this has also like the remote ,don't have to get up to change settings.only thing i don't like is it keeps turning off compressor every so often. i would like it to run continuously

Both quiet and efficient!
I purchased this in April, after reading reviews. I have an LG dvd player, and it has worked well for 6 years, so I gave their air conditioner a try. This through the wall unit , so far, runs quietly and efficiently! It seems to be powerful. It cools the air from my living area to my kitchen. To date, I am quite pleased.
