Excited but now confused. Send help
Installation was a breeze. Out of the box and into the wall. Outlet wasn't up standard, got it replaced. Now once on it makes a rumbling sound anyone had anything similar?

Works good ...outer trim diesnt fit right
Nice features plenty of power I like the dry mode. Disappointed that the outer trim doesn't fit correctly. It's almost like it's really not shaped for the square Box of the unit because it has rounded corners.

The cost matches its quality.
This unit fits my living room plus balcony. Like other AC, a little noise is normal. it does not bother me. It is easy to install and operate.

Perfect fit for my apartment

Pretty quiet cools well
Bought this to replace a different new wall a/c. At fan level 3 it's still pretty quiet the other unit we'd purchased sounded like a jet engine. The lg unit cools our condo quickly & even the energy saver mode kept the house cool all day! Definitely worth it only complaint is the front grill that covers the screen & the rim cover piece. The grill snapped at one corner during installation(but still functions) & the rim does quite fit the unit & we couldn't figure out why. But I can live with these 2 things cause it's cooling the place quickly and relatively quietly.

No continuous run mode
Replaced a 12k btu with this 14k btu and it doesn’t do as good of a job. Probably because there’s no true continuous run mode, where the compressor stays on after the desired temperature is reached. In eco mode the blowers turn off, in regular mode they stay on, but the compressor turns off and on regardless of the mode.
It’s extremely annoying how loud the compressor is turning off and on near constantly, and can be heard even through noise canceling headphones. 0/5 stars would not have bought

Affordable!
I love this air-conditioner. Kept my apt cool & comfortable all summer & I enjoyed a huge savings on my electric bills!
The energy saver mode is great! Looks good also!

Pretty disappointed in this AC, especially for the price. Very noisy. Takes awhile to kick on when the power button is pushed. Three fan speeds but they all sound the same level, LOUD. Wish I could return it but it's too big of a hassle.

Was able to install it in original sleeve, which had appropriate downward slope at outside. Cooled properly, right out of the box. Early September cool weather makes this a short experience history.

LG air conditioner had sealed system failure
We found this AC stopped working right around 1-year mark (probably stopped working earlier than that as it was not used often). Called a technician, who found leaked refringent on the bottom of the AC. The diagnose was sealed system failure. Called LG customer service, and was provided three numbers to LG-certified repair persons/shops. Two of the three numbers no longer worked, the third one never called back. This is the last LG air conditioner I bought.

Every LG product I have performs above expectation. This AC unit also performs flawlessly. And, the installation kit has an incredible array of shims and risers that allowed me to center the unit in the existing sleeve with no trouble. There are also many insulation options included that completely and efficiently sealed the gaps. Finally, the included framing assembly is very sturdy and easy to install, unlike other units I have owned. Everything needed was in the box - no trip to the hardware store needed.
