[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this for Christmas and it is one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. I often make several meals at a time and this food processor makes all the prep work a breeze. It makes the all day process of chopping and gets it done in a very short period of time. I love the fact that you can use the slicing blade to get different thicknesses and the fact that it also has a grating blade. Its also very sturdy. The first food processor I had was a different brand and it broke the first time I tried to lock the canister in. I don't have to worry about this with the KitchenAid processor.

Does a great job on veggies as well as meats , chicken ect. Makes salads with ease , chops nuts perfectly for my baking projects . It stores easily in a regular size cabinet. It is quiet and easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received it as a Christmas gift and couldn't be more thrilled. I love the settings to change the thickness of the slice. The oil hole drizzle in the food pusher sure helps to make dressings quick. It came with a slicing and shredding disc, multipurpose stainless steel blade, disc adapter, external slicing control, and a 7 cup bowl with the 2-in-1 feed tube. It just makes dinner easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with all KitchenAid appliances, the 7-cup food processor with ExactaSlice system is powerful, well-constructed and easy to use. My only minor criticism is the aesthetics. Although the buttons are large and easy to read I think the plain design of the buttons detracts from the overall look of this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ended up returning this. The buttons on the front were , very hard to push. I also didn't like that alot of the shredded food piled up in the cover by the shoot. When you remove the work dish, alot of shredded food fell down in the center & there was no easy way to get it out. I liked the fact that you could reverse the shredding disk to fine or coarse and also that you could adjust the thickness of the slicing disk. Does not compare to my Robot Coupe that I had for over 30 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and have used it several times. It works much better than the off brand model I had before. It actually cut/chopped my cilantro without have to constantly scrape the sides. It cut my salsa making time drastically.

I have a background in culinary arts, and once you use industrial kitchen equipment, there is really no going back. I was so excited to get this food processor and I am NOT disappointed. Have been using it like crazy and have no plans of stropping. Go out and get one right away!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this food processor as a replacement for my previous Kitchen Aid unit that I managed to break. I found the lid on this to fit VERY snug compared to the old processor. It's a bit challenging to take off when the sides of the bowl need scraped down. Interestingly, the bowl fits easier on this system than the old so I guess it's a trade off. Initially, I felt that the S-blade sat ever so slightly too high within the bowl and that food that I wanted to be processed ended up going beneath the blade. I have since gotten great results and am noticing that phenomenon less. The blade needs a little push to click it in. It could also be the type of food I'm running through it as well. I have found the blade to be very sharp and have been pleased with how it's worked. I do find the buttons a little more difficult to work than my previous unit. It's as if you have to search for the "sweet spot" that actually triggers the processor to operate. I like the food coming out of it, so I will tolerate the elements about it that keep me from giving it 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started canning for the first time this year, I have a Kitchen aid mixer and loved being able to use those attachments for canning, but didn't think I needed a food processor. I was wrong, It allowed me to instantly get my veggies for my salsa and spaghetti sauce just how we like them and cut my time in half!! I have recommended this to my friends who do their own canning as well, and they love it too!
