It does the hard work for us when we make bread, lentil burgers, cookies, fruit cake etc. We particularly love the bowl, its capacity, ease of cleaning and we often use it separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hubby bought this for me during a Black Friday sale. I have been wanting one for a long time. I absolutely LOVE it! I love to bake & cook...I have Fibromyalgia and this makes it so much easier for me to get things done in the kitchen without having to stand and mix everything by hand. Since I have had it, I have baked cookies and breads and I have used it to make infused butter to spread on roasts. I can't wait to start getting attachments and broadening my repertoire in the kitchen. I highly recommend this mixer to anyone who loves to bake and cook.

As of now I’ve been on hold for over an hour to talk to someone from kitchenAid to see what can be done. I am not happy at all! If I return this mixer, I will not get a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 4.5qts classic last month and it is perfect size for my needs and kitchen. Usually I use it to knead dough for roti, Indian flat bread. Every time it comes out nicely and we all are impressed with fluffy soft rotis. I am happy about this purchase. Only one concern I have is that the mixer shakes vigorously sometimes while kneading. I generally use 2-3 cups flour and just water,salt and oil. This shaking is concerning because it feels like even 3 cups is too much load for this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have used it to make yeast bread, cakes, cookies, etc. When making yeast bread (2 loaves for most recipes), I have to divide the mixture up to finish kneading. This saves the mixer because 275 watts is not powerful enough for most recipes and I want my mixer to last years. Yeast bread is a long creative process, but it is great during covid times. Great videos on the web on how to use the machine. Yes, I would buy it again. :)

I absolutely LOVE this mixer! Shipping was fast, item packaged well and arrived with no discrepancies.

My mother gave me her Classic before she died over 15 years ago. She used it a lot before she got sick. It works great except some how the bowl and flat beater clank at one point. Now the coating is cracked and flaking off. Time to replace the whole system?

I have classic white unit. I used to make pasta with a hand cranked Atlas the other day i made pasta with the attachments in 1/2 the time and a greater amount of pasta. The next night i made irregular shaped filled ravioli. This is such a time and work saver. I think everyone should have one. The quality is second to none. The mix bowl even has a handle on the side, how convenient!I just love it!

I just bought my new Stand Mixer abd I was so excited, I wanted one for year and it finally happened! But then I opened the package and realized the beater shaft spring was not there... what a disappointment, I was so excited to try it. For the price I paid for, THAT should NOT happen.

When i showed them she said ‘it’s only what i want for birthday’. She was so happy like a child. She lives in Kazakhstan. Recently I sent them there. She looks forward to her gift. By the way I have the same colour for my Stand Mixer. I’m very glad to have it. It’s really amazing stuff for my kitchen. It’s like my little helper. I did not need one because I hate baking ... but one day.. it was in a store for a great price and it called my name. I purchased a classic.. because again I never bake... but it kept whispering use me... so I made cheesecake muffins. I bought my mixer a month ago and I have never enjoyed cooking or baking till now you actually can have your hands free to do things while your mixture is mixing what a hand mixer you never could do that or with the old fix master that had been come through generations of my family and I use you couldn't do that with this you can your bowl is locked in place and it can do its thing while you have your hands to get things ready such a joy to cook now

As an adult I only used a hand mixer with limited uses. I now own a Kitcnenaid Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and realize how much easier cake making and bread making are when you let the machine do the work. I look forward to the using it time after time. I also appreciate the many accessories and the ability to make homemade pasta and sausage. Absolutely the simplest and best kitchen appliance!
