I bought this in august 18,2023 in Walmart and is not been yet 4 month and its not functioning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am satisfied. I think it should have more watts if it is supposed to support the meat grinder attachment. It does work so I see no reason to send it back. On that subject. I bought the metal meat grinder from kitchenaid and it wouldn’t seat properly. I worked on it rather than send it back. (I also found small metal disks in it) I find that I needed to duct tape the cord so that it doesn’t break at the point of contact with the mixer. I find the cord is quite flimsy, thin and short.

Recently bought this item but it came filthy, covered in dried cream - the bowl, beaters, machine itself... buyer beware!

As I was preparing to begin my baking for the Holidays my Kitchenaid mixer refused to start, no trying just silence! Baffled & confused by its lack & motivation to begin our batch of goodies & trying different things to get it going, I remembered how many wedding cakes, loaves of bread, dozens upon dozens of cookies & other goodies it unfailingly prepared without complaint or hesitation! My mother purchased this mixer in 1971 & it died a long, well lived life in December 2022! THANK YOU for 50+ years of uninterrupted & exceptional service!

This one, however, has a few imperfections that are not consistent with kitchen aid quality. The label band is not adhered correctly, the seat for the bowl has visible dents and the accessory cap has surface blemishes as well as the ring above the rotating tool. Mechanically works good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new mixer after Christmas with money I'd received as gifts. In comparing it to the mixer I received at my wedding, I've noticed some differences. The edges don't seem to be as smoothly finished as my old one. There are subtle differences in the beaters and the flat beater and dough hook seem to weigh less than the old beaters. Just hope they hold up for another 40 years (of course, it's unlikely that I'll hold up for another 40 years!). The beater was adjusted too high, I discovered while watching a video that showed me how to correct a non-functioning locking mechanism. I'd contacted customer support three times about this - twice, I was put on hold for an hour. Once I sent an email that has yet to be answered. And a fourth time while attempting to conduct an automated chat, I was told that it couldn't be used due to high volume. For a company with KitchenAid's reputation, this is unacceptable. I was also surprised that there wasn't a more thorough owner's manual. Perhaps this is because there is so much available online, but even the paper that the small manual is printed on is rather flimsy. I rather like to refer to a paper I can hold. I will say, though, that the video on the KitchenAid website showing me how to adjust the set screw did the trick and my mixer head stays in the locked position now. The fix was easy, but why couldn't the automated "chat" feature have referred me to that site? I'm happy with the way the mixer is operating, though I've only made cookies once and whole wheat bread twice. However, the real test for me will come only with time - will this new mixer hold up as well as my first one? I hope so. I will also add that now with a KitchenAid mixer in place, my kitchen feels complete again. It's a pleasure to use it and I look forward to MANY years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this my first stand mixer , this kitchen aid classic in onyx black . It works well for making doughs for roti and soft breads. I made cake batter , chocolate chip cookies , whipped cream , custard and it works great. Easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Sits pretty on my countertop without occupying too much space . Since I only cook for 2 to 4 people , I felt this was the right size at a reasonable cost. Am considering buying a bowl with handle as an accessory, might be more useful with pouring batters although no handle is not a deal breaker . I was debating between this and the deluxe model but I think the 25 watts less does not impede anything I want to do . I am loving it and wish it lasts me for a long time .

I bought my Classic 45SS mixer in 1980 and it works and looks like new!

Vera, my Classic, started life as my grandmother’s mixer, and she passed it down to me after many years of faithful use. I added a little character, and Vera’s never looked better! I can’t imagine my kitchen without it.

Knowing this my husband surprised me and purchased me the classic mixer and boy I am loving it. The first thing I made was a homemade cake, I even made my own homemade butter then I made some cookies lol let’s just say this appliance isn’t collecting dust like some other countertop things I have. What I love is the ease of using the mixer and I’m excited about the different attachments. I think it’s great that ALL attachments fit to work with ALL of the mixers instead of having to buy different machines. I feel like the possibilities are endless to what you can create with your KitchenAid stand mixer I know that I am up for the challenge.

Since acquiring my mixer, I find that I am making bread on many more days than I used to. This mixer makes it so easy. I make pizza dough, rolls, loaves, french bread etc... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my KitchenAid mixer as a gift for Christmas. I have been wanting one for YEARS but I could never spend that much at once on it. I am so happy with it, I have used it so far to make cookies, homemade frosting and to shred a pork roast. It’s so nice having it. I used to hate when I would have to add ingredients and keep my hand mixer going or when making frosting having to hold the mixer for long periods of time. Now I can just turn it on and get my other things ready to add while it does all the work. It’s a breeze to use. Everything is easy to clean. Mine came with three attachments and so far I can tell the main one I’ll be using is the whip attachment. The only thing I wish is that this model had the handle on the bowl as well. That handle would just make it complete. Overall great investment and honestly if I hadn’t received one as a gift I would’ve eventually broken down and bought one. Absolutely worth purchasing.

With Covid keeping us home more I have taken to the kitchen and learning a lot of new recipes. My wife got me the stand mixer for Christmas and it is a great addition to my kitchen. I first made cupcakes with homemade butter cream frosting which I could not have done without the mixer, they were a big hit. I have since made homemade yeast rolls among other things. I look forward to making many more things. The mixer is easy to use and cleans up easily too. Very satisfied. I also have purchased a slicer/shredder attachment.

I’d stopped baking as much as I used to because I have wrist problems and baking everything from scratch is difficult. My kids really enjoy baking with me and it’s great for mental health and brings such happy memories. My mixer has brought me more joy than I’ve had for years.
