Poor quality
We’ve had this for only three months and the brew button no longer works. From the start we’ve had problems with this coffee maker. The brew button would need pressed two to four times for it to turn on. Ok fine, it doesn’t hold time at all. It would falls hours behinds. It’s 2019. A clock should hold time. Also, it’s a messy coffee maker. Condensation build like crazy and goes everywhere when opening the lid to add coffee grounds. Save yourself about $100 and buy a mr coffee. Those cheap things seem to work just fine.

Yes, it makes coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a week ago and chose it because it filtered the water used to make the coffee. Unfortunately, it is much slower at brewing than my old B and D (which gave up and died after nearly 15 years of service. The clock loses at least five minutes every day and has to be constantly reset and the controls are user unfriendly. You have to go through a whole set of sequences just to get it to turn on. Kind of disappointing. But yes, it makes coffee

clock sucks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these pots and had to return both within a month each. The clocks would loose a minute a day so after a week it would be off 7 minutes. We like the coffee and everything else about the coffee maker, but wanted to use the timer so we went back to our mr coffee.

Bad design
Good morning.
Never thought I would do this but here goes. This product has to be one of the worst that I've ever bought. It is the messiest machine that I've ever used. The filter is impossible to clean properly (especially if you put it in the dishwasher.) Whomever designed "that" should give their head a shake. You need gloves on to pour the coffee or the steam will burn your hand(s) and I'm constantly cleaning up condensation from the machine. The "handy" water reservoir leaks. I bought this coffer maker 5 months ago and now it looks like it needs to be replaced. Pure disappointment from a Kitchen Aid product. There my rant for today. Have a good day.

Not great
I bought this a month ago the machine looses 10 to 15 min a day. Makes auto feature worthless . Top on top of the pot broke first time I washed it. I've been very dissappointed. Next time I'll buy the $20.00 mister Coffee

Great product

So Happ with our kitchen aid coffee maker

I would not recommend this coffee maker.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker makes good coffee but it is messy to replace the filter and coffee grounds when preparing a fresh pot of coffee. A lot of water accumulates on the lid over the grounds and this drips all over the pot and the counter when the lid is raised. The clock runs about five to seven minutes slow every twenty-four hours.

Easy to Use

Called KitchenAid because it was still under warranty. They were very easy to deal with and sent us a new coffee maker which we got in about one week. They obviously stand behind their product.

reservoir leaks
I have 2 of these and for the most part they work great, makes a great cup of coffee. However I noticed that the reservoirs leak at the bottom on both machines. Is this a design flaw?

Simply dependable coffee maker!

It gets the job done, doesn't take a lot of counter top space
and produces fresh brew in a reasonably quick tempo.
Auto turn off would be nice but just another thing to go wrong
