The design is very attractive. The installation went smoothly. I'm happy with the final result and will likely order more for my home. This was my first door install and it is an achievable project for people with minimal skills and a bit of patience. I watched several YouTube videos to learn how to perform the installation in an existing home. The door installation isn't the time-consuming part, it's removing the old door, patching the wall, and finally re-applying trim after installing the door. I probably took me 8 hours start to finish. Some things to be aware of: - the door's finish is flat. There is no simulated wood grain. While this is attractive, I had difficulty painting without showing brush marks. Eventually, I got a "paint flattener" product that I poured into my paint can. The paint stays "open" for longer periods of time. This helped but didn't eliminate the problem. I pre-painted the door and molding before installation. - the trim/door jam that comes with the door is pre-primed. The issue is the surface is very rough and should be sanded before applying final paint. I would have appreciated a smoother surface to same me time.

The door itself was good - solid and in good condition. However, the frame was cheap and tacky with lots of dings and dents. The frame needs a lot of work to look half decent.

I ordered seven of these doors, a mix of hollow and solid core depending on the room. I finally got around to installing the first one and have to say that it looks great. Modern but also retro at the same time, much better looking than the builders standard 6 panel arch doors. I have to agree with other reviews thought that the quality could be better. I've only taken one our of the box so far, but noticed a few small things like the door stop not fully nailed at the bottom, trim nail holes exposed, a few nicks in the frame probably from shipping. Nothing major but you expect more given the price and the brand. Only other issue was having to wait about six weeks for delivery to the store. All in all, a great looking door and worth it.

It is of a lower quality than it looks online. The surface it is not as smooth as is should be, not perfect, but much better than a hollow core door. Painted looks much better.

We ordered five of these doors. Overall we are happy with them, but I would have liked there to have been cleaner mortises for the hinges. The style is a little bit different than I anticipated from the on-line pictures. I thought the panels were a 90 degree angle from rails/styles, but it is angled/sloped. Also the door stops are not typical. The outside edge is milled to make it "fancy" looking (this also wasn't apparent from the on-line photos or description). I would have preferred an S4S type of stop as it fits better with the craftsman styling of the door and our choice of door casing/trim. The primer on the door also seems to be a different shade than the primer on the door jam, so I'm not sure if this will affect the final color after painting (we had planned on painting the door and trim the same color). I waited for a sale and got the doors for less than $100 each.

I purchased 5 of these doors last Spring. And, they did arrive shrink-wrapped on a pallet. There were no defects and the doors installed quite easily-especially since I wasn't the one installing them. We added a Grandeur ceramic door knob to each door going on the principal that the door knob really finishes the door.

Door shipped in perfect condition and mounted easily. However, door was not quite what I expected. Photos in catalog and JELD-WEN website make it appear like rails and stiles are square (90 degrees) to the panels, when they are actually tapered. Not authentic Craftsman style, but not objectionable enough to send back. Actually, easier to clean.

Door looks beautiful, but was partially damaged & I didn't have time to wait for a replacement so I just accepted it. Quality is ok & installation was not difficult.

Door is nice looking from a distance. Problems: Imperfections in the paint, multiple small dots where the paint did not adhere. Replacing the hinges was a big mistake, all three hinges stripped out on the door making it unusable. And, I used a hand screw driver. Quality sub par would not recommend.

This is a great door at a great price. In the end I purchased 10 of them, different widths, but all solid and really good value for $. Highly recommend. Also my local HD is awesome to work with! (Natick< MA)

Terrific door - quality, ease of installation and value. It came well packaged and undamaged, with solid strapping to keep from twisting or warping the frame. Even the disposable plastic door "lock" was tight yet easy to remove - everything stayed well aligned. The hinges were well installed except for an oversize mortise cut on one hinge - likely a one-time manufacturing defect that's only minimally visible when the door is open. Two extra, 2" long screws are included with instructions to replace the top two short hinge screws after installation - a nice bonus to keep the frame secure at the hinge. The solid door is SO much nicer than cheaper hollow core doors. True, the door is not exactly "Craftsman" since the rails/stiles are beveled on the panel edge and not square - more like Shaker style - but it looks great. Definitely a great value - I didn't find anything of such quality elsewhere. I wish my builder had used these in other parts of our new home.

I bought these doors when they were on sale. So, no comlaint on the design and quality of the door itself compared to the price I paid. One thing that gave me trouble was misalgnment of the pre-bored holes for the door lock on the door and the door jamb. They are misalgned by about 3/16" - just about the gap between the door top and the door rail. They may have forgotten this gap and just set their machine to cut the slots and holes at the same position on the door itself and the door jamb. I am very disappointed that such a big company can make such a simple mistake.

We ordered two of these doors for a remodel project and are very pleased with the appearance, quality and price. MUCH nicer than anything our local Home Depot had in stock at similar prices. Only issue was that the rough-in dimension per the instructions on-line (HD site) was about an inch too wide, both for the 36" and 32" doors.

The door's appearance met expectations. Installation of pre-hung doors is generally simple enough. However, the door required REBUILDING prior to install. Lots of play in the top hinge causing the door to miss-align. Switching the top hinge with the tighter bottom hinge remedied issue for the time being. At the very least Home Depot owes me a hinge! Remaining hinges were inadequately fastened; I removed and glued & screwed. Except for hinge defects, I suppose, value was okay. Quality okay except hinges. I'll give HD another chance.

..... The previous reviewer is correct. Traditionally, these rails would be squared off, creating a true frame and panel. The thing is, only cabinet makers are gonna frown on this (me)... but your wife/girlfriend and the neighbor are gonna think these look great. The beauty of this design is it draws your eye in a way that it makes the door seem taller than it is. 4 stars because it's still a decent door.

If you are looking for a nice Craftsman style door, don't get this one. The sticking on a Craftsman door should be squared off. The "rails and stiles" are angled where they meet the "panels", not squared off. Huge disappointment in appearance.
