poorly built MDF doors and the prices reflect that. After i installed the doors i left 1/4” open from door slab between jams but after i painted the doors they expanded and door slabs scratched against jams. I don’t recommend these poorly made doors.

Very poor construction, do not buy this brand door. I inspected the door before I brought it home. Three hinge screws fell out of one hinge the first time door was opened. Another hinge was missing a screw and the third hinge was screwed in overlapping the edge of the jam cutout causing the door not to close. None of these issues could be caused by shipping and show really bad construction from the factory. Third time similar things happened from this brand. Returned it before I left the store and ordered a different brand. Something is really wrong with the JELDWEN manufacturer.

Slow manufacturing process. Why does a standard primed wood door take 6 WEEKS to manufacture?! Good quality doors, but painful wait is stalling overall project completion.

This door is very beautiful and easy ( as far as doors go) to install.

The door was well packaged and received damaged free. Delivery time is a bit slow at 30+ days, so plan ahead!

the jamb was not well made (small staples and no glue), plus the door slabs were not hung properly in the jamb, as no matter how good you are you cannot get a tight and clean function once installed.

The door itself was fine but it was very dirty. Attempts to wipe it off failed. We are going to have to repaint. I recommend not getting the pre painted version.

hinges are not installed properly on the prehung doors. Waited for a month for these doors only to have an inferior door that won't close.

Paint job was unacceptable. I had to have doors painted.paint was like primer, light grey not white as described in description

I have never bought an interior door. I'm remodeling a bathroom and have purchased all building materials and fixtures from HD. I have been very pleased with all all on-line purchases, so I I ordered this door on line. It is exactly the door pictured on line and I am very happy.

We ordered 2 of these (plus a double for the pantry). These doors are VERY heavy but that's ok as they are solid core (composite). I install my doors with door-off-jamb so weight is not a concern. However - make sure you install the longer screws in the center upper 2 hinges or the door weight will cause it to pull away at the top. The jambs are well-built but the door stops are full length so you will likely need need to cut them to accommodate whatever floor height you have. I've seen other doors where the door stop is shorter so it's not an issue with some doors but it will be with this one. Now about shipping. Ordered April 28. Received May 25. Other reviews indicated shipping does take a very long time. Believe it. It's my fault for not paying attention to the estimated shipping time and I therefore had to wait to finish my project - so that's on me. The message here is to take the long ship time into consideration. I was also expecting a call from the shipping company so I could make arrangements but they showed up unannounced a day early because they happened to have the doors on the truck and were already in the area. That is fine and my wife was home to accept but the communication was a little broken there. Is this Home Depot's problem? It certainly is because they choose who ships. But like I said - all is well that ends well.

Beautiful doors, seamless order and delivery. Unfortunately the measurements listed on the website do not actually coincide with the measurements of the doors. Long story short the doors don't fit even after following the measuring instructions provided by Home Depot.

This door is ok, but not a high quality door. There is no latch side bevel, making for quite a large gap between door and frame. The frame included in this package is a poor quality frame, it has a very flimsy surface applied stop with cracks showing all along. I would expect at this price to have a decent interior door frame as well. Not a very cheap one. I will be throwing the door frame away and building my own from decent jamb-legs, then re-evaluating the replacement of the remainder of the doors in the house.

We loved the style of these doors and ordered 16 of them, sight unseen. That was a huge mistake. Two of the door slabs are unusable as they warped so badly that that dont close properly. A couple or the frames are cracked which we didn't notice right away and I will now have to determine how to repair them. The finish on the doors is substandard, at best, and we spent hours sanding and repriming. The hinge and latch plate pockets are milled at different depths and had to be remilled or shimed to make the doors fit correctly. Several of the hinge screws were either stripped or inserted at an angle. The door stops were not firmly attached and some were misaligned. If all of Jeld-Wens doors are of this quality, I will never buy another.

Nice color, solid door. Described as "convenient" and "prefinished" as well as "prehung". Only the door slabs are prefinished. The frames are PRIMED only. If you're paying for convenience you won't get it here. May as well get an unfinished door.

The quality of these Jeld-Wen prehung doors is terrible for a number of reasons: Wait Time and Poor Packaging: I ordered two prehung doors (a 30x80 and 28x80) that took five weeks to arrive at my local HD. One of the doors was so badly damaged upon arrival that HD had to reorder it, which took another month to get. Poorly constructed jambs: I ordered the doors with finger jointed pine jambs, but the factory uses MDF door stops glued to the jamb, so there is no way to remove the door stop for fine adjustment of the gap--a normal thing to do when hanging doors. Quality prehung doors have pine door stops tacked onto the jamb with a couple staples for easy removal and adjustment. Also, the header jamb was glued and stapled to the legs off center by 1/8" to where the door stop is not even all the way around, creating an uneven gap when the door is closed and a noticeable, ugly jog in the door stop. I ended up having to disassemble the jamb, realign it, and reassemble it to get everything lined up correctly, but I paid Jeld-Wen for a prehung door so I wouldn't have to spend the time doing that. Terrible Hinge Routing and Stripped Screws: When the reordered door finally arrived, I found that all three hinges were routed at different depths than each other, and one was routed at an angle. In order to get the door gap even and to stop the door from binding, I ended up removing the upper and lower hinges and bending the ears in a vice, along with shimming behind the hinges. When checking the center hinge screws that go into the door, I found two of them to be stripped. Very shoddy workmanship. Incorrect Jamb Size: On one of the doors the header jamb was cut too long by almost 1/8", resulting in an almost 1/4" door gap on the striker side compared to the proper 1/8" gap on the hinge side and on the header jamb. Having the uneven gap looks like garbage, and the cap is so wide that I can see light between the door and the door stop when the door is shut. I will have to disassemble this jamb too, cut down the header jamb, reroute the rabbit and cut a new miter in the door stop, and reassemble the jamb. Conclusion: It would have taken less time and been far cheaper for me to order the door slabs and build my own jambs, and the quality would have been four times nicer. Why is Jeld-Wen charging so much for such shoddy craftsmanship, and why can't they teacher their employees how to use a tape measure, jig, and a router? I didn't have time to build my own jambs for this project, and for the price of these doors I expected the jambs to be correctly cut and assembled and the hinges to be properly routed within reason. Instead, I received two doors that each had major problems, and one of those doors to over 2 months for me to receive, delaying the project. This is the first and last time I will buy anything made by Jeld-Wen. I recommend you use another manufacturer, even if you have to pay a little more for quality.

Love this style door. It is a solid core door. Beware don't think just because it is solid core that you can trim more than 1/4 inch from either long side without cutting into a different type of core wood. Solid core doesn't mean the entire door is a solid sheet of the same wood. It just means the door is filled with a sort of compressed wood to make the door not seem hollow. This is fine and most door manufactures do this. Just trying to save you from making the mistake I did by trying to cut too much off the door.
