We love this style of door, and have ordered them previously. This time the craftsmanship on the hinges and carve out for the door lock was terrible. Could be the rush during the pandemic but we were disappointed with what we were given after waiting 3 months for them to be delivered.

Nice looking door but the frame seemed fragile as it splintered easily. The stops were just barely attached and needed to be tacked down. Considering the cost and wait time to get this door, it’s average at best.

Doors are nice and heavy, good “solid door” feel to them. We got them in the desert sand. Paint seems durable. The casing is white ready for paint. One issue i had was the routerd plate Location on the door was too shallow. I had to hand chisel to accept the lock plate flush with the door end.

In the end, my wife absolutely loves these plywood-framed Craftsman-style solid-core doors. For me, I was pleased that they cost the same as the standard 6-panel hollow-core doors with MDF frames. The minor installation issues are on me.

Half the Jeld-Wen doors i purchased are poorly put together the the frame was misaligned so had to take apart and put back together also had 1 door missing screws from the hinges and the notch cut out was incorrect. I contacted Jeld-Wen customer service and was told sorry you had an issue.

Nice door! I chose it for a walk-in pantry during a remodel. It looks custom with the white Shaker cabinets and I paired it with a Kwikset Halifax handle in satin nickel. The white color is slightly grayer than the bright white cabinets, but the heavy build and feel of the door makes up for it.

Disappointing quality for the price so am rating them below average. Frame is MDF. Was a bit to tight so I had to spread the frame (or trim the door...but then why buy a pre-hung?) Hinge screws are all crooked too - you would think in a factory they could drill them properly and center the screws so the heads sit flush. I do that in the field with vix bit. Had to reglue the lower corner of the door skin. Fortunately I only bought 1, for a linen closet, to try these out. Good thing I did. I need to replace all my (hollow) interior doors with solid doors, but will try a different brand for the rest.
