It is working very well. The only problem is that the tabs keep coming louse. Need to use a wrench to tighten them.

Installation is very straght forward and easy to set up and operate. Like the manual lever, again easy to turn on or off at "other" than selected times if needed. The only caution and this Clearly stated in the installation instructions is to Not try and switch the timer on or off manually 30 minutes before or after your set on or off time.

This timer has been my favorite timer since 1992. I have changed it twice and this time (3rd) the manual override switch became stuck to the cover. I had to adjust the switch handle, to stop it from being hindered by the closing of the cover.

The Timer was easy to install! Easy to set off and on times! I think it will save me money in the long run!!

Our electric company offered to pay half of the price for the H2O heater so why not? I'm not an electrician but after watching a couple youtube videos I was able to install this switch without killing myself or burning the house down, the result is a huge difference in our monthly electric bill.

About 9 yrs ago, bought a digital and this type of mechanical electric heater timer for both homes I own. Altho both are easy to hookup, the digital is more time consuming to program. The digital malfunctioned about 5 years ago, replaced with the same and just recently replaced the digital timer went dead (back-up battery still good / reading around 1.4 volts). The old mechanical is still functioning. The downside of the mechanical is when there is a power outage, you needs to reset to the present time which is quite understandable due to it doesn't have a back-up battery. For durability and experience, I chose the mechanical over the digital this time. The digital is fancy with being in the modern times for being multi-functional time on/off and days) but for durability, the mechanical is the way to go (for me).

I installed it a few weeks ago and it works great. It was easy to install and directions were explicit enough that anyone can understand them.

This was a replacement for a model made several years ago that failed after a few years of erratic running. It was noisy and did not keep time well at all. We needed the same box because of its simplicity and low cost. The installation was a breeze. The company must have made some serious improvements because this one runs quietly and keeps time to near perfection. Looking forward to never replacing this one.

This is a nice timer. It installs easy and works as advertised. It would be nice if it had seven day ability. The advertisement on the Home Depot site does not say it comes with trippers and so I purchased trippers for nothing.

The water heater timer will help in keeping your electric bill at a lower cost. If used properly, keeping it on only when you need hot water.

I bought 2 of these about 20 years ago to control swimming pool pumps. One of them has just died. The switch still works, but the clock motor quit. I was very glad to find that the exact same product is still available. If this new one is half as good as the old ones, I'll be satisfied.

I had several electronic timers before that all died. So I went back to mechanical. This one does the job and has several on off switches which is what I wanted. The instructions were a bit confusing at first. I ordered for 240V and the first page only shows 208/277. But further in it does show for 240.

Ours worked flawlessly for about 10 years. Today I have to replace it because one of the contacts is burned and does not make a connection. Much more than paid for itself in electricity savings.

This timer was easy to install,compact ,it is easy to program for all times of use during the night and day,I have had these timers before and they last several years.i would highly recommend these timers to anybody who would like to save money on their energy bill and there is no maintenance on these timers.

The labeling was accurate and complete. The diagrams were large and easy to follow. The timer was the direct replacement , mounting holes and knockouts were the correct size.

Easy assembly and hook up. It was very, very quiet up until last week, about 2 years old. I started looking for a new drive motor but couldn't find one. I ended up, pulling the unit apart (one spring clip at the top, inside) and spray the moving gears with lithium spray grease. That made the unit nice and quiet again!!!

Was perfect for the application. Straight forward installation. May require additional conduit and wire. Electrical knowledge a must, especially if additional wiring is required.

Currently using this timer to turn on and off a hanging 240v 30A heater in my garage and has been working great for last 2 months.

Instructions were pretty vague. Illustration(s) and graphics were barely adequate. The ON/OFF switch does not fit well through door slot. Mechanical timer is kind of obsolete. Door is hard to close. All in all, it works as intended but the overall design and workmanship leave something to be desired.
