Easy to install. Works great.

Installs quickly and easily. The only issue with this timer is the On and Off clips become loose and can damage the tines if they jam the timer. They need to be checked regularly, and it is not something people think of until there is a problem and the unit needs to be replaced.

! I am a licensed electrician for over 30 yrs, I have used these in the past and alls been good but the 2 last ones I installed didnt last 2 yrs. So I believe they are being outsourced from a communist country . What saving you have is all gone because of the need for a replacement timer ... Just purchase a manual disconnect and get in a habit of turning it on and off yourself.

The timer replaced one that was 25yrs old. Easy to install and has the availibility to add plenty of on and off times to suit your needs.

Since you asked! I’m told a knockout was already removed when my employee installed it. Then a service call later for no hot water. Timer was bad!! This happens to many times from Stroudsburg PA Home Depot. Returns are just put back on self!!!

This timer is set up for a four wire 240 volt system however, my house is quite a bit older with a three wire 240 volt system. I simply configured the timer so the clock motor had power and it works just fine. My previous Intermatic timer had worked for over twenty years until a spring broke. I prefer this mechanical timer to an electronic unit.

Yes and the electrician did not know that these even were around. I went through three electrician before I found one that knew what it was and how to install it. I hope this one last the 27 years the last one did. It really saves energy.

Easy to install as long as you follow instructions and you turn off water heater power off from breaker, had for almost a week and doing the job it's supposed to do, going to recommend to my father

Exactly what I needed to time my water heater. Plenty of contacts to set several different on and off times. Should be great, hopefully will last!

Easy to install and very sturdy

Product was easy to install, but the wiring diagram needs to be in color or the white wires need to be better defined.

These things are incredibly reliable and absolutely the right fix for any commercial water heater or lighting scenario.

Arrived on time, installation was simple.

The timer I got was used or a retuned one cause the two electric cable knock-outs were already knocked out to 3/4" when I needed mine knocked out to 1/2". Instead of returning it and past experience of store managers picking a fight with me I went to the local hardware store and got a bigger cable clamp to fit into the existing hole that was knocked out. Also I noticed the paint was rubbed off at the mounting holes providing more proof it was a used one that was already mounted. It was an easy install and I noticed the timer motor is much louder than I expected. The people were friendly to me at Home Depot, no complaints there.

Works as advertised easy to set, haven't got my electric bill yet, so I can't tell you the savings I get.

It saves some money on the bill. To bad it went up in overall cost. Since the first on was only $35.00 to now over $50.00. Shows how they price gouge!
