Shipping was fast and no broken wheels like others has stated. Plugged in and tested and worked fine. It was a Christmas gift so two weeks later when unwrapped it still had air pressure so it has no leaks. Looked/worked like a new compressor.

Compressor was damaged during shipping. Wheels broken, dent in handle, compressor cover broken. looks like box had been droped a few times by UPS. Returned to store and bought a new compressor there. Buy new at store, saves the hassle of returning it to store. Compressor is a good value for the money. Works good for automotive work.

The compressor i got was damaged. The pressure Regulator valve was damaged and is not working properly.

As many have noted, when I received the unit it had a cracked wheel which was quickly replaced by calling the number in the brochure. I am very pleased with my compressor and it was a great price.

Yep. I was a sucker too. Wheels broken, screws missing and the regulator threads were stripped making it inoperable. Where is the quality control? Took it to my local store and they took it back, no questions asked. Bought a new one at full price and got the extended warranty.

bought one about a year ago for occasional use. Used it about 5 times. It was very loud and took for ever to fill up. Plug it in to use it, heard a shattering noise, plastice and metal parts start falling off from under the plastic top cover. When I opened the top, notice the motor casing and the fan were shattered. The motor casing is all made of cheap brittle metal. It cost more to repair than buying a new compressor. It was a total waste of money. Can't be rich enough to buy these cheap product. Now I am $120 out and have to go buy another compressor

Product showed up in a box that looked home made. And it was up side down. One of the wheels was completely broken off. There was no manual. It had new red paint with over spray on wheels and the rubber foot. Upon testing the unit it ran really well, built up pressure quick . It does have a slight air leek, sounds like its coming from the output fitting. Over all it seems to work really well . Hopefully home depot will send me the wheel and manual

The only problem is there is an air leak at the fitting , were it screws into the tank, can hear the air leak untill the pressure gauge reaches 140 psi, but the tank continues to leak off. Other than that it is a little great compressor.

...but, both wheels are in bad shape, one broke and the other one blemished. Customer service will send me a pair of new wheels. Tank paint in poor condition.

I had a 6-gallon unit before this one. This works great and I love having the extra capacity. The motor is powerful as well. However, the unit has a slow leak and I can't figure out where it is coming from. (It had two actually - I repaired the first leak that was coming from one of the tank fittings)

This is a great deal. Yeah the wheels were broken upon arrival But they sent me a couple replacements immediately. This unit runs great and fills up quickly Unlike other in review I have no leaks at all. I let the full tank sit for a week with no drop in pressure. Great Deal

Compressor leaked air very bad and took about 20 minutes to build air pressure and would be empty overnight with no air hose on it. I had to tear the compressor apart and tighten all of the fittings and thread tape them. There was not one tight air fitting on the whole thing. Most of the fittings took about two to three turns before they quit leaking.

I received the Husky 20 gallon electric compressor in the mail and immediatly noticed a lot of water sloshing around in the tank. I tried to drain it and nothing came out. I then removed the drain plug completely and had about a gallon of rusty water poor out, filled with large metal flakes. Put it all back together and ran the compressor. Put about 40 psi into the tank, shut it off and the thing drained to zero in about 5 minutes. Checked all the fittings and drain plug and had no indication of leak. Determined that it was the check valve that was leaking. If the folks refurbished it properly, it would be a great product. Even with the leak it got to 40 psi very quickly. I will return this one and hope the next one is better.

I was looking for an air compressor for DIY projects. This one was a compromise to store enough air to run tools for some time - the ones that need more air like air hummer, decent impact wrench, etc. I even managed to blow my sprinkler system too (one tank per zone, then recharge, another zone, then another full cycle). It does take long time to refill the tank. But I knew it. This reconditioned unit (also a compromise - great price for the risk) came with new-looking pump and cosmetically touched tank. Better than I expected. As many people complained, one wheel was damaged. Had no problems with calling the support number and getting new pair of wheels couple week later. I probably need to come back and post another review some time later when compressor operated noticeable hours. So far I'm happy with it. I upgraded it slightly by adding shut-off valve which seems to help with keeping air when not in use. It won't get you through if you are a contractor or have large project. But for DIYer who can keep taking 10 min breaks to refill the tank it does well. This way I can use most of the pneumatic tools.

I purchased 2 of these items within the last 3 months. The first one lasted about 2 weeks, and broke down on me. The replacement lasted close to a month, and also broke down. It's a great price, but it's just not a reliable item.

It did not looked as if it was reconditioned. A bolt was sticking out of it a through the side of the cardboard packaging. I returned it to the store.

Slow to pump up from 0 lbs, but holds pressure up unless you are using blow gun too long.

Bought this mainly to blow out my sprinkler system but tend to use alot with an air gun to rotate tires, do brakes, etc and it has more than enough capacity to handle all kind of homeowner jobs. Easy to roll too. Definitely a great buy!

Received the air compressor ahead of schedule. It had a broken wheel (called and got a replacemen right away). The power cord had paint on it meaning that it was packed before the paint was dry. Besides that I believe that it is a good unit worth the price.

I bought this compressor to winterize my sprinklers, and it did the job. I had to clear out each zone twice, because the pressure dropped pretty fast, but it was well worth the time I spent. This compressor will pay for itself after 3 uses. Great investment. Like many other buyers, mine came with a broken wheel. I'm waiting to receive a new one in the mail.

We chose the 20 Gallon Electric Air Compressor to blow out our sprinklers. It's powerful motor made a quick and easy job of the process and over time will save us a lot of money doing the job ourselves. We use it for many other things like inflating our tires, friends tires, family's tires, you get the picture...it's convenient. Worth the extra money to get the big dog with the 1.8 HP motor. FYI, we went to the Monster's Inc Halloween Night with our family at the Parker location and our kids had a blast! They got to build a tool box and put all their candy in it from the vendors. Free popcorn and free coca-cola products! Make plans to go next year, it's not your same ol' Halloween stuff.

It arrived with a broken wheel. Noisy (no more than most compressors are), but extremely easy to use. Air valve and power switch are effortless to use.

Seems to work okay, used to have a 30 gallon compressor. Sold it. The portability is great. Well balanced, easy to move around. Seems to take as long to fill 20 gallons as it does 30. So far so good, need more projects to keep using it. Blew out the sprinkler system well. The price was great.

The unit seems to work fine but is hard to move due to the two wheels that were broken when I received it.

My compressor has been working well. The only minor problem I have had is that the drain valve gets clogged sometimes. It seems like buying this product is somewhat of a gamble since you don't know what the person before you had problems with. However, it has been working for me.

For this size compressor I don't know if you can find a better deal. One of the wheels was broken, but without hassle they immediately sent a replacement. Vertical fits in the corner of my garage - takes up less space.

Works perfectly. Holds air presure @ 155 psi. Looked brand new when it arrived.

Does what i bought it for perfectly.... Has that perfect capacity for what i use it for, and now im excited to use my Air Impacts and Spray Guns, especially my Air Ratchet...

Though the price was good for my budget, the quality of the reconditioned product was very poor. The plug ground prong was missing, the tank was full of rusty water, the wheels and covers were loose, and the touch-up paint was flat pink and rubbed off easily. It has obviously seen a lot of use, but it does have the full warranty so we'll see how it fares over time.
