This down rod was exactly what I was looking for....
This down rod was exactly what I was looking for. It fit my Harbor Breeze matte black ceiling fan and the finish matched perfectly as well. Would definitely recommend.

We used this rod with the Hunter Salido 60 inch...
We used this rod with the Hunter Salido 60 inch ceiling fan. This rod did exactly what it was supposed to do. It allowed us to hang our ceiling fan on our vaulted ceiling. The rod attached to the ceiling fan without a problem. The black rod matches the black fan perfectly.

The extensions don’t extend an existing tube. In otherwords ...
The extensions don’t extend an existing tube. In otherwords you must buy the down tube exactly the finished length you want. We thought we could add an 18” tube to the 18” that came with it. Why do they even sell an 18” as that’s what they come with. Very confusing and they don’t say they joined

That is correct, we do not make our downrods to be connected together. This usually causes issues with instability and can lead to wobbling of the fan. We would love to help you find the right downrod for your fan and ceiling height! Please direct message us at Hunter@hunterfan.com so we can help.

This pole is NOT COMPATIBLE with the hole pattern for the ground wire as it is attached to HUNTER...
This pole is NOT COMPATIBLE with the hole pattern for the ground wire as it is attached to HUNTER Ceiling Fans & that hole is a different diameter that will not accept the ground wire screw that is re-used from the down rods from Hunter.

Threading on the downrod was great, didn't have any sort of issues installing it on my Hunter fan...
Threading on the downrod was great, didn't have any sort of issues installing it on my Hunter fan, finish on the paint was also very nice, would recommend to anyone that needs to add a longer downrod to their ceiling fan.
