Totally sumptuous. Like walking on a cloud. Vibrant color that looks super expensive. It is plush and beyond. I read that it sheds a lot but that has not happened to mine - there has been no shedding. I just ordered another one in red.

This rug sheds incessantly. Daily I must sweep or vaccum the hardwood area around the rug. If I walk across the rug in socks, my socks are covered in fuzz from the rug. The fuzz gets all over clothes, shoes and furniture. If I had known before what I know now about this rug I would have never bought it.

It's a great rug and the 9x12 cookies & cream has been the centerpiece of our family room for 3 years. It's holding up well with heavy use and 2 small children playing on it but it has not stopped shedding! Our 1 year old loves eating the fiber dust balls that collect on the dark brown couch also in the room. We love the look & feel of the rug (although the loft is starting to feel depleted after heavy use and the necessary vacuuming to reduce shedding) but most likely we will NOT buy another when it comes time to replace it (which will be soon).

Installed this rug in the family room over the 3M rug pad. It feels great under foot and reduces the echo from having wood floors in the room. I read the other reviews about vacuuming up a bunch of lint. One thing that occurred to me is that this is a 70's era type rug and I can imagine why a 21st century vacuum is thrashing the rug. Vacuums used to have a higher head setting to accommodate this fiber length. Nowdays, vacuums are designed to get every last speck of dust. I'm just saying try not to worry. I've had this rug for just over 2 months and I use the hand vac on the edges where the dust bunnies collect... and then spot vacuum any food bits or debris. I plan on taking the rug outside for Spring cleaning and beating it to remove any built up junk. I haven't experienced any excessive fiber loss with this rug. In case you're wondering what color direction this red rug leans-- well, it's a blue-based red, not a yellow-based red. Looks a bit maroon.

The rug is beautiful. The color was a lot lighter than I expected, but looks wonderful. Not sure how easy it will be to vacuum as it is very fluffy and soft. But it isn't too heavy (with help) to take outside and give it the old fashion way of cleaning. A good shaking!!!!!!

If this rug even remotely resembled the coloring in the picture, a lovely light lemon yellow with two shades or pale greenish blue, it would have been perfect. The fact of the matter is that this particular color (or at least the one we received), is overall a sick grayish shade, more akin to overcooked spaghetti noodles than seafoam green. It's unanimous at our house. The only saving grace, and the only reason we may not pay the shipping to return it, is the thickness and softness of the rug; really, really plush even without a pad. It is, however, ABSOLUTELY NOT the colors shown on the website and I would discourage anyone looking for a true seafoam from buying this rug. Still on the fence about returning it, but I do know that I experience a tinge of disappointment every time I enter the room. Arg.

Product delivered is as pictured. It's a sunny yellow, with great soft shag,and seemingly great quality. I'm pleased with this purchase and look forward to my baby crawling on it.

Great looking rug, however sheds non-stop it is also a long shag, not short shag as pix reflects on site. Had to take back to store due to shedding.

I wasn't expecting to find the quality and selection of an area rug in Home Depot. I have only previously purchased area rugs at a carpet store. The sizing, quality and appearance was more than satisfactory. I would purchase it again.

I just recently purchased 3 of the cookies-n- cream colored shag rugs, although the colors isn't exactly what I was expecting I really love these rugs. I have 2 large dogs and 1 small dog and this rug doesn't show ANY hair, dust or dirt. The color has more of a cream and reddish tint, but it works well with my decor. No pad needed either.

Was searching for an area rug with high shag look. This rug delivers. Looks great over hardwood. Shag is too high for my Dyson vacuum beater bars so I have to use hand attachment. Does not shed at all.

We purchased this area rug in "Light Oak" to go over our family room hardwood floors. I wanted cozy, soft and plush. I saw it in a store first but decided to order online for delivery purposes. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Even my two year old comments on how soft and "cozy" it is. The color is neutral but not too light and even has some specs of darker brown. There's almost a sheen to it as well. I highly recommend.

Vacuums easily. Fluffs back up but still leaves fuzzies all over socks.

We've had this Ultimate Shag rug in Cookies & Cream in our living room about 6 months and LOVE IT. It feels great on the feet. Our rug has a 70+ lb medium-haired puppy on it with all her paraphernalia most days -- and it still looks great! I'd definitely buy it again.

This is the most beautiful shag rug, it goes awesome in my daughters bedroom. Rec'd in perfect condition, very thick. It has a smooth back so now worries if you want to lay it on top of hardwood floors or tile, it will not scratch the floor. I like it so much I will most likley buy another one for our family room. I searched all over for "pink" rug and found this one for the best price & color. Its perfect for a baby girl's room.

I have had my rug for over a year! In the beginning, you couldn't get me to say anything bad about my new rug. It was so pretty, it was exactly what I had been looking for as far as the thickness, size, color, and overall look. Now, into my second year of owning this rug, I am shopping for a replacement rug. IT SHEDS HORRIBLY! I spend everyday picking up carpet fuzz from my entire home! It is everywhere in my home including in every room of my second floor, all over the corners of my stairs, in my bathroom, in my lint collector in the clothes dryer, always stuck in my daughters hair, in my dogs food, all over the garage floor, outside in our grass, in my car, stuck in my hair brush, it's even stuck to my iron and I have had to replace 4 irons because the carpet fibers get stuck in your clothing and sometimes aren't visible but when you iron, the fibers melt onto the irons surface causing damage to the hot plate. I had read that this rug will stop shedding after a year! NOT TRUE! As a matter of fact, it seemed to be worse than when we first purchased it! I am so angry! Right now, the fibers are in my eyes as I type! My poor dog is always coughing up fuzz balls. The thing that really bothers me is, I clean it up EVERYDAY, I use my fingers to comb thru the loose fibers and I always come up with handfuls of fiber. I vacuum by bare floor and I have to dump the vacuum filter daily! I HATE THIS RUG SO MUCH!! I purchased the 6ft by 9ft size. I am literally rolling this thing up and throwing it in my garage TODAY. I can't help but think that any good reviews are from new owners because I didn't begin experiencing the shedding until after a few months of ownership! I would not buy this rug unless you are placing it in an area where it will get absolutely NO TRAFFIC! If you still plan to buy after reading this review...GOOD LUCK!

I had my eye on this rug for months and finally, when it went on sale I purchased it. It was a great buy since rugs are so important and can change the life of a room. This rug is soft, think and comfortable. We love this purchase. It looks even better in person!

I've gotten many compliments on this rug and its a perfect match for our hard to match nursery walls. Actually quite a few people have said they wanted to get the same rug as us (which is a great compliment). I had looked everywhere and bought other rugs that didn't work. This rug is perfect!!! But it was also the most expensive one I bought. I'm still happy with it though and I'm sure our baby will love it!

I am super pleased with the quality, color, and everything about this rug. The shipping was very fast. The "Cookies and Cream" color is perfect. It has three colors in a heathery design - ivory, med beige, and a darker brown. The shag is deep and plush. I have it as an area rug in my bathroom. It is soft and comfortable to step on and is exactly the color I wanted. I have seen a review that stated there was a problem with shedding fibers. I have not found that to be true with the color I got. I love it and my cat loves to roll around on the shag.

I ordered this rug online thinking it was like the shag rugs they have displayed in the store. It was not.This rug was scratchy and the shag was way too long and thick. It looks really cheap for as much as they charged for it. I returned it.

It's good for the value and looks great. It does shed a little and stick to your black clothing but still works fine.

I love this rug, so much so that as soon as I'd received it and layed it out in the bedroom, I jumped online and ordered another for my living room. Gorgeous, soft, luxurious to the touch. I see previous posts that mentioned shedding, but I have not had any such issues for the 2 weeks I've had it. I highly recommend this product! (BTW, I bought the blue to match the decor in my bedroom and the oatmeal color for the lvg room)

Got this rug for my baby's room was very happy with the way it made the room look would like to have this type of rug in my bedroom (not pink though) over all very pleased with my purchase

The photo of the rug displayed ont he website does not match the color that was sent to me. Plus the plush rug is much more plush then described in the written discription. Thank you,, Shelley
