This is a great true yellow, very soft and thick, exactly what we wanted and a good price

I ordered these rugs in red: an 8' round, 5 of the 2x5, and 2 of the 2x3's. All I can say is that you get what you pay for. First, these rugs are not soft. The rug is more of a yarn consistency than anything else, and coarse feeling underfoot. Second, they shed like CRAZY! I have been vacuuming DAILY to pick up fibers that shed everywhere! Lastly, good luck cleaning them! I have had them right around a month, and already there is gunk and debris build up in the fibers that no vacuum (a dyson, a Hoover, and a shark were attempted) that can thoroughly remove the small bits. Definitely not an "easy keeper". If I could return them and pay a bit more for a lower pile or better quality, these bad boys would be GONE!

The sizing was definitely OFF, almost irregular . The shag was too long . The color was great but I was very disappointed. Had to return.

The rug fit our family room perfectly. The only thing I would have changed is the length of the shag; it really has longer shag than I anticipated (about 2 1/2 inches). It's very comfortable to walk on.

The rug was easy to put down and we are enjoying it. Only thing is, it sheds a bit, but still nice and soft.

Did not like this color. It was kind of cream with light brown spots in it. Returned it.

The backing of the rug is soft; not rough like others that I looked at. The quality seems good and I have not had any problem with it shedding. It is soft and thick underfoot.

The color is great goes perfectly with my Aqua decor. Very plush gives entrance an elegant chic vibe and the price was phenomenal

This rug is very plush and thick and looks beautiful in our family room it appears much more expensive than it is. The color is quite llight and lovely. Will be interesting to see how long we can keep it clean.

This rug sheds like crazy. I bought it over the summer and I can't keep up with the shedding. Fibers are everywhere. I have to get rid of this rug it's nice but MAJOR upkeep.

This was a great rug for about 9 months. Great colors, looked nice, and now I absolutely hate this rug! It sheds constantly! I can't sweep my floors enough to keep up with it. You can't sit on the rug without looking like you've been cuddling with a fuzzy animal. I can't wait to replace it! Save yourself the headache!

Very disappointed in the pile of this rug. It is very sparse . The black backing shows through the pile. Certainly not a plush rug. Too much space between fibers.

Love the rug. True to color. Thick and feels of good quality. Shag is longer than I expected. Does shed. Haven't figured the best way to clean it. Fast delivery. Loved the option of return to store if it didn't work out.

I thought the brown threads would be more spare and random and they turned out to be evenly disbursed throughout. That said, I still love the look and feel of the rug and the fact that there is a minimal amount of shedding. Very pleased with this purchase.

It's exactly what we were expecting. Color is consistent with photo and is thick and comfortable to lay on.

Bought this rug 1-year ago. At first I loved this rug. Beautiful, full and did not shed. Fast forward about 6 months. I vacuum daily and after about 6 months this rug did not hold up. The full rug was now very thin and flat. I ordered the oatmeal color which is beautiful but after a few months shows signs of dirt that are very noticeable. Tried to have it professionally cleaned, did NOT clean up well... Now a year out I am going to throw the rug out. Overall the price was good but I really would expect this rug to last longer than 12 months. I would NOT recommend this rug.

I purchased this area rug for my living room so my kids had a place to play that had a carpet. This rug is full and plush and luxurious. Everyone who comes over comments on it and loves it. It does not she like most other carpets but you have to be careful when vacuuming it. There is no other rug like it. It is worth every penny.

I love the looks of this rug, it looked the same as the picture and I get many compliments.

I guess I should have known better. I have been looking for rugs in an aqua color for weeks. Saw these and thought my search was over. When they arrived today, I could not have been more disappointed. They are no where near the color or texture of the photos. The color is a dirty greenish grey and the odor is horrible. Smells like a wet dog. Now I have to pay to return this mess.

The rugs are amazing - HUGE (seem a little larger than the size shown) - The quality is good. Be sure to get a slip pad to protect the floor and because they do slide a lot. Also, be VERY clear about the delivery time as it does take awhile to get them. The dates shown for delivery are optimistic unless you email and chat with Home Depot to get them more quickly. The pictures of the colors are off - the blue is a nice medium blue (not teal) and the lighter blue is a very light teal color. The cream/yellow one is really more cream and the color speckles as shown are not very visible. Hope this helps!

Nicel cream with beige rug with defined color pattern. The strands are thicker than I imagined from the photo which adds to its very shaggy appearance. Perfect for my need. Arrived fast. right to my door. No hassle shopping!

This carpet is very rich looking and feeling. The individual strands are at least 3 inches long and it is very densely filled. My granddaughter lay on it immediately and loved the feel of it. It will add great depth and warmth to my family room.

First I want to say that I ordered this rug on a Friday night and it shipped on a Monday and arrived on Wednesday so awesome service from homedecorators but now for the story of my rug which has parallels to the movie gremlins if anybody is old enough to remember that movie. Prologue: I read all the reviews prior to purchasing and have to admit I was nervous after reading all the shedding comments but I was looking for soft and everybody agreed it was soft. I also needed an olive color to fit the room décor and not too many carpets come in that color. Finally, nobody could beat the price. Yes, I saw a few for slightly cheaper in other places but all were reviewed as thin and sparse and I wanted the “ultimate shag”. Scene 1: Rug arrives and first check is color which is exactly as I had hoped, a true olive, not army camo, not sea green, but exactly the color of an olive in a martini glass. I smelled and was happy that there was no chemical or off-putting smell. I unrolled in designated spot and thought how adorable and perfect (just the way the guy felt about Gizmo when he first saw him in the Chinatown shop). The similarities start to get eerie here as like Gizmo, the ultimate shag is also from China. Scene 2: I look for furballs or signs of shedding and think this doesn’t look too bad. But I decide to give it a quick vacuum. Seems like the right thing to do. Wrong. Running a vacuum over this rug is like giving Gremlins a bath. Suddenly tufts of carpet are multiplying like gremlins in a bath and flying around mischievously. Scene 3: Ohhhh nooooo!! The reviews are right. But like Billy in Gremlins I fight back. I furiously vacuum (a great workout btw trying to move your vacumm back and forth over gremlinshag). After three passes back and forth, my vacuum feels hot to the touch and starts wheezing. Scene 4 (set in Appliance ER): I have to triage the bagless vacuum which is hot to the touch and viciously choked and smothered in fuzz by gremlinshag And the clear tubing is blanketed from top to bottom and the roller almost immovable from strangulation froml fibers that wrap and tighten like a boa constrictor. But after twenty minutes of surgery, I save the vacuum!! Worried, however, that breathing in all the carpet fibers will give me mesothelioma. Scene 5: I cautiously run the vacuum over the carpet making sure to stop and remove gremlin fuzz and it seems like I’m taming the carpet. I stop and my back is sore from all the work. I decide to lie on the shag and stretch out. Oh so comfortable, oh so soft and cushiony, but not too high, just right. This shag is like the flawed boyfriend you know is a project but you love him anyway and might live together happily ever after. Scene 6: Wrong! Manipulative scheming carpet got me to lie down so he could cover me in tufts of carpet fuzz. Like zebra mussels on the hull of a ship, I transport the fuzzballs all over the house. I was in the kitchen making a snack and somehow fuzz is on the counter, in the bathroom on the tile, and stuck like leeches to my corduroy slippers. I am going to return this in the morning. Scene 7: I vacuum once again and call it a night after my Dyson cries “uncle”. In the middle of the night I wake up thirsty and walk across the shag in bare feet. Sooo Nice!!! This carpet feels amazing!! Okay you can stay. Scene 8: The morning sunlight streams into my apartment and here and there I see little olive tufts of fuzz. But the rug looks great and it’s going to make a fine companion and I’m going to keep it. I’ve decided it’s more like a lovable pet that just keeps shedding rather than a gremlin or a manipulative boyfriend. I’ll have to brush (vacuum) regularly but in the end we’re all part of the family. I love you Ultimate Shag.

Ordering this product was easy and quick. Delivery was quicker than promised. Product arrived in good condition. The color and quality of the product was what we anticipated and the quality actually exceeded our expectations. The cost was average for what we ordered, possibly a bit more expensive for a area rug this size but overall we have been extremely happy with our purchase. We only put the rug down a month ago in a childs bedroom, so we will see how it holds up as time goes on.
