Love, love, love this floor. Installed it in a room that was converted from a 3 season room to a living room over a year ago. The room is only heated with a space heater so when the heater is off the room is unheated and very cold, therefore, the flooring constantly goes from cold to heated all winter. After I realized how nice it was I continued it throughout the rest of my house. It has held up very, very well. The only 2 blemishes it has received are from me dropping tools on it - made a small nick each time. I have not seen a single scratch. Having said that, we do not have a dog with claws that would be scratching the floor or little kids running around dropping things but it has received enough traffic over the year to say that it holds up very well to normal wear and tear. The friends who installed it said they did not have a problem with the installation. I know sometimes less expensive flooring does not go together well. They did the living room in about 3 hours and the rest of the house in about 5 hours. My only issue (which is an issue with me not with the flooring at all) is that it is hard to keep clean. It shows dirt, hair and smudges very easily because it is dark. I am a clean freak so this probably bothers me more than the average person. I love dark wood floors so I guess that is the trade off - just something to consider if you like to keep it looking clean at all times. I sweep it a few times a week.

I recently installed about 325 sq. ft. of this wood (3/8" click lock in Java) and overall I'm pleased with the ease of installation and how the floor looks. First, let me start with a few of the 'bad' items I came across. One of the boxes of wood I received had issues with the veneer top. Every time I made a cut with my miter saw the top of the wood around the edge would detach giving it a milky appearance. This seemed to be a problem with the entire box, though I didn't encounter this with wood from any of the other boxes so I don't believe it was the blade on my saw. Ultimately I used each piece from this box for edges underneath baseboard moulding and closet pieces to keep them from view. Not a deal breaker by any means. The only other negative I came across was a few warped pieces here and there, maybe 3-4 that couldn't be used as full length pieces that ultimately were used as cut pieces. Again, not a deal breaker for only 3-4 pieces of wood. Now the good. First, I think this product looks great installed. I've never used click lock before, I'm impressed at the precision of the locking mechanism. There are really no gaps between any boards, this wood seems to me machined well. Cuts from my miter saw and table saw came out clean minus the one box I mentioned earlier with veneer issues. My jigsaw has a cheap blade, cuts from it were rough though they're all hidden under door jambs and floor registers. After installation, the floor feels very solid. I haven't noticed any boards that feel like they're floating. I have a few pieces where I can hear the underlayment crackle when I step on them, this should subside after awhile. Installation is an absolute breeze. On day one I did an entire bed room (130 sq. ft.) in about 4 hours without any help. I'm by no means an expert, just a weekend DIYer. It's nice to not be tethered to a pneumatic nailer, definitely speeds up the process. The boards go together easily and I mostly used a hard whack with my hand to get them into place. A few places in closets and around door jambs required a mallet and tapping block. Last thing I want to mention is durability. I've only had this wood installed for a few weeks but so far I see no scratches. I feel that it is as durable as I expected... my 30lb. dog doesn't scratch it, a few random drops on the floor have not caused any damage. I had my shop vac rolling around it and again, no issues. Based on my issues with one of the boxes having a messed up veneer I don't expect this to be super durable wood but at $2/sq. ft., I feel like I got what I paid for.

I used this product to replace carpet in our master bedroom and closet. It was easy to install and looks great. It has also been very scratch resistant. The quality of this product I'd rate as good compared to a highest rating of very good. Some of the edges were slightly damaged or the locking edge was broken but not to the point of being unusable.

This flooring product was just awesome. A breeze to instal with the click lock feature and best of all bo glue mess or staples needed. This board has a plywood base MDF center and a pretty thick veneer of bamboo on top. Defintley excited that i did not get the one offered in other popular yellow stores that had a paper thin veneer. I would not be surprised if this can be refinished. Anyway get yourself a nice underlayment. I live in south florida so humidy is an issue. To bot void warranty i installed 6mil vapor barrier and robert felt underlayment on top of that. Beautiful solid floor!!

This floor was so easy to install. Clicked together perfectly. The color is amazing.

We like the color and looking. Our dog love it too , seems like he does not leave scratch mark on it now.

T/his was a great project! And the flooring was easily installed and well explained in the instructions. My only tip is to read the directions for your underlayment first. The direction it was to be installed differed from what was suggested for the flooring. We will see how durable it ends up being. So far, so good. It looks and feels like expensive wood. I love it.

We used this product as a wall accent (not as flooring). The material was very uniform in length and thickness, which was important for our project. Because we were attaching it to the wall, it needed to be nailed in a few spots to support it while the glue dried. I drove a small brad through the tongue of the board, and it held well with no breaking or splitting. Very happy with the product.

This flooring is beautiful and the most durable i've ever seen or used. Being bamboo it is extremely hard, finished perfectly and easy to install. The tongue and groove snaps together easily and the floor looks amazing. I recommend a compound mitre saw and use of the best underlayment you can.

Although the dark color looks nice, there were scratches while the installers were still laying the floor! This floor scratches very easily and every single footprint shows. This was the biggest mistake I ever made and am so sorry I chose this floor. It is junk.

Flooring was not the color advertised. It said Mahogany but it was much lighter. More like maple.

This floor scratches easily and when asked how to buff or remove scratches no one will answer the questions

Put down 1500sf, Easy install, and looked great. However, this floor shows every speck of dirt and scratches so very easy. SO VERY EASY! Constant maintenance if you want a clean looking floor, otherwise forget it. If you buy this flooring, you will regret it, and you will remember this review! Beware!

Great product easy to install. Looks great!!

I ordered about 30 box. To my surprise , there were only a few box wilth half cut, not even 10% of the box. So basicly 1 in 10 box there is 2 pieces of half size. the rest all are 6 ft. It really slow me down. the surface it not shiny, and easily stick oil if it is dirty. So far no scratch -we dont wear shoes. I

This floor can not withstand everyday life. Drop something on it and it chips. Anything you place on top of it will scratch it. Install is easy but 2,000 worth of floor is trash less than a year after install. They should not even sell this garbage.

Absolutely gorgeous floor. We had a similar, but more expensive floor, for several years in a home we just sold. We loved the look so much that we decided to replace all the the light colored “luxury vinyl” in the next house with this dark, smooth bamboo “click” install flooring. That change transformed the new home from a sterile contemporary feel to a very elegant and warm contemporary look. Paired with high ceilings, off-white walls and rugs, and dark wood/ off-white fabric upholstered pieces, the remodel turned out exactly as we had hoped. HD delivered the flooring within a week of our order for 105 boxes and held it long enough for the installer to pick it up at the store when he was ready to start. Installation went smoothly. Don’t be afraid that the dark color will be hard to keep clean. We have two white cats - and two $200 robot vacuums that do a cleaning round every day. I haven’t touched a vacuum cleaner since we put the first dark bamboo floor in a couple of years ago and the floor looks great every day.
