The ledges had poor quality. Delivered with scratches and chipping and not an easy task to put up. Returned.

The instructions for this product were not clear at all. The word description said nothing about screwing into the wall stud, but the picture showed the screw going into a wall stud? It also says to drill using a 3/16 bit for the anchors, but this hole is too small for the anchors to fit in. If you then try to tap them in with a hammer, the anchors just bend and collapse, totally useless. I had to return it and all it left were ugly holes in my wall.

Arrived broken. Very disappointed with quality.

I got three for my sons room and they look super nice, great quality and price!!!

Looks just like the picture, sturdy, easy to put up

The brackets in the shelves fell off (stripped out of the MDF) before I was even able to hang them on the wall. I will have to go out and buy glue, new screws or mounts. Bought three - the measurements were not consistent across the three. In one of the shelves, the bracket screws have broken into the front. Poor, poor product. Because they are floating shelves, they are naturally hard to hang, but I doubt that these will support much weight at all.

We ordered 3 for our baby's nursery! They were easy to hang and good quality for the price. Her books look adorable on them!

These very simple shelves are a great addition to our dining room. I wanted a clean look, and the photo ledge style definitely achieves that. They looked great out of the box, were easy to hang, and support the weight of framed photos and other knickknacks. Very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to order these again if we need them elsewhere in the house.

We purchased 3 of these when they were sold in-store and decided we needed a 4th. They are no longer sold in any of our local stores so we ordered online to pick up in the store and it arrived damaged. We were okay with sending it back and ordering another one, but every time we've received one they all arrive pretty damaged. It gets a bit frustrating when your purchases always arrive damaged. The store said they can't exchange it for us so we had to keep sending them back, getting a refund, and then ordering again. We decided to just cover the damages as best we could with the latest item because we're just tired of going through this process. We do not recommend ordering this item online. Purchase in-store if you can so you can inspect it before you buy.

Perfect shelves for my son's room for books. Great quality.

I am a shoe junkie and needed additional space for my beauties. After researching several wall storage options on Pinterest, I decided to use the picture ledges as shoe hangers with other decorative elements and photos on the ledge. It looks GREAT and I love how effective the ledges worked for shoes. The only reason I didn't give the item five stars is because of the poor brackets on the back of the ledges. The tiny screws that are used to hold the brackets are very flimsy and easily rip right off the ledge. Luckily, I had small, yet thicker screws, and was able to perform minor DIY repairs to the brackets.

I bought 3 to go in a little hallway and they fit perfectly. My hubby hung them without any problem. Wish they were just a little wider - I'm not able to overlap my thicker picture frames. But they still look great and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Once installed, the shelf looks great. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is because of the poor brackets located on the back of the shelf. Small screws are used that easily come loose that can force the bracket out of the shelf. To secure the brackets in place to ensure the shelf would be secure on the wall, I had to screw in more secure screws for the brackets.

Substantial ledge assembly. Nice finish on all surfaces. May want to use upgraded wall fasteners for heavier objects (framed photos).

The shelves themselves look great. They were a nice white and seemed solid. When my husband installed them the bracket on the back seemed a little flimsy and as soon as he installed the last one (they were being installed on top of each other like book shelves) the top one fell off even though it was empty and it knocked the other ones off the wall as it fell down. My husband ended up drilling a whole through the shelf and attaching them to the wall that way. So you can see the screw and it isn't a floating shelf anymore but it won't fall off the wall which is better than the other way. It seems weird that the shelf was really sturdy and stable but the bracket used to attach it to the wall was really flimsy and bent and then broke without having any books or picture frames on the shelf. I expected a little more from a shelf coming from a home improvement store.

Decent quality. No problem lining up two screws. Don't know why other reviewers had difficulty with this. Overall, very happy with purchase, looks great!!!!

Easy to install. Just what I wanted. Alternatives at Pottery barn, etc. were three times the price.

These were about half the price of other similar ledges I found on other websites. I guess you get what you pay for. I hung them following the instructions and put 4 lightweight frames on one. As I was putting the frames on the second, the first fell off the wall. Here's why: first, they are made of particle board, which does not hold screws well. Second, there is a gap between the plate that you hang the ledge with and the particle board. The very short screws that the plate is held on with barely screw in to the particle board. I decided to keep them and using toothpicks to fill in the stripped out screw holes, bondo to fill the gap, and super glue to hold the screws and the plate in place, I feel confident they won't fall off the wall again.

They are exactly what I expected. I bought two of them and they were easy to hang and are displaying my photos nicely!

The ledges look very nice but the wood is unsuitable. The hooks that are provided to hang the shelves do not stay in the slot on the back of the shelf. After trying for over and hour my husband gave up and said take this junk back to the store. I am disappointed because I really want these shelves to work. I guess if you pay only $20 you should not expect the highest quality product. We looked on Pininterest and found instructions for making one!

Item was exactly as pictured and was well packaged.

These shelves have 2 tiny brackets on the back that each hang on a single screw. This really doesn't leave any margin for error when placing the screws in the wall. My suggestion is to use a level to mark a straight line where the shelf will go, and then place the screws into the brackets and hold it against the wall. Make a mark with each screw on the wall so you know the exact location of each bracket, as each shelf may be slightly different! Doing that made it easier but I still don't feel like they are very secure with just 2 screws. I would not hang them over a crib or changing table! They are not secure enough to trust installed over where a baby will be located.

I have six of these shelves, love them. Wish I could still buy them in store!

We hung two of these on a wall to display pictures. Love the way they look. Hubby didn't care for hardware so he used something more durable. We also made sure that at least one screw was mounted on a stud. These are not high quality but for the price they are great!

Great shelves for my new granddaughters book nook I'm her nursery!!!

PROS: Nice white finish and heavy sturdy shelf. Good price. CONS: Very difficult to hang. I have purchased other shelves that were easier to install by just drilling through the back onto the wall. Yes the screws show with this method. With this shelf, you have to install screws on the wall first so you can hang the shelf. The back hides the screws but the shelf won't fit if you don't place the screws correctly. Would have recommend the shelf except for the difficult installation.

This photo ledge looks great in my hallway. I ordered two and one of them arrived slightly damaged (better packaging would have prevented it). I only gave it four stars because hanging the shelves proved a bit challenging due to the small holes on the back for the screws and the need to be extremely precise in your measurements. Overall a good purchase!
