worst shelves i've had to hang. First, they come with a 'guide' on the back of the box that you can use for drilling. DO NOT drill with the guide as it is off and your screws will not line up with the holes. Also, the anchors that are included are cheap and snap off halfway through your wall leaving a nice gaping hole in your drywall/plaster. Will never buy/recommend these shelves again.

One arrived broken

Love the way the picture ledge looks on the wall. The notches on either end of the back that the screw heads on the wall fit into were cut out at different distances from the top of the ledge, so measure carefully for a level installation.

Good quality shelf and very fast shipping. Only complaint is that the holes on the back where not spaced out to where the two-by-fours are so I had to hang one side in the sheet rock making it less sturdy.

I immediately returned them as they were damaged.

A big crack ran through one of the 3 shelves ordered. I returned as the crack would have caused the shelf to snap off in short order.

Keyhole fittings were not securely fastened to shelves and came out. I had to replace with larger screws.

I purchased three ledges and two came badly damaged (White stripped off corners and banged). Customer Service offered to send two replacements if I'd send the two damaged back but stated "we can't guarantee the two replacements we send won't be in the same or worse condition. You're taking a chance"

I ordered 8 of these picture rails. UPS delivered them and 3 were broken. Took them back to Home Depot and ordered 3 replacements to be delivered to the store. When they arrived, 1 out of the 3 were broken. They are very cheaply made. I experienced a similar problem that other reviewers have mentioned with the metal attachment plates on the back, coming off and having to reattach them with bigger screws. What ever happened to pride in a product and workmanship. Prepare to get very frustrated with this items cheap quality and difficulty with installation.

Shelves themselves are good. The screws that they came with are of poor quality - they stripped easily when being installed, and are very oddly sized so were impossible to replace with standard screws. And no extras are provided!

Easy to hang, but we used our own anchors because the hardware that came with the shelf was not sufficient.

We put 2 of these shelves on my daughter's bedroom wall for books. They look awesome - and hold a decent amount of weight!

Exactly what I was hoping for. Great for books in my daughters' nursery.

The ledges were perfect! Th would be easier to mount if a template was included.

Was not easy to install. Needed a paper diagram/stencil. Delivery was a mess too. Disappointed all the way around.

I bought three of these shelves and each one arrived dented and/or had paint scratches on it. The look of the shelves is great besides the poor quality.

These shelves are well made, easy to hang and look great on the wall. I ordered 2 initially and then ordered another one.

I absolutely love the look of these shelves. They are exactly what I wanted. My only issue was that they were difficult to hang. You had to be extremely precise with your measurements to fit the screw into the hole on each side.

Second home I bought these for. Look great. Priced right.

Wall hanging brackets came off the shelves not allowing the shelves to be hung. Awful product

Was chipped and scratched.

Lousy attachment brackets/screws. The screws are so tiny and the 'wood' so porous they do not stay attached. Have installed four of these and had to buy longer and fatter screws so the brackets would stay attached plus added two additional screws to each bracket for additional strength. Do not recommend these at all. The distance between the wall attachment screws must be exact or the screws do not fit into the brackets. Have had to reinforce all eight brackets on the four shelves. Would not hold up under the weight of small wooden frames.

Worst product EVER!! Screws fell out & shelves fell down

Purchased (2) 24" shelves and (4) 36" shelves. Had some difficulty while installing. The hanging plates came out of one shelf after hanging. Believe the screws were not long enough to hold the shelf up. Not all back plates were in the same place so each shelf had to be measured rather than assuming each size was the same. When installation was completed they all look very nice grouped together and appear to be sturdy, They have been installed for (2) weeks.

We adapted the photo ledge to hold decorative plates mounted over the kitchen cabinets. It worked.
