I imagine these shelves would be decent if the manufacturer were to use decent screws to attach the hanging brackets/hooks to the back of the shelf. As it is, the second I sat an 11x14 framed picture on it, the shelf came crashing to the floor, shattering the glass in the frame, and cracking the shelf; the dinky little 1/4” screws and hanger had pulled right out of the back! So I have no idea how nice they would look if they were to stay where hung on the wall...these babies are headed back to the store (on my way to buy another picture frame!). Grrrr....

I bought two of these shelves to use for books in my son's nursery. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the paint finish when they arrived but I figured hey, you get what you pay for so I can just touch them up with a paint marker. HOWEVER, when my husband and I went to actually install them, we discovered that the screws that attach the mounting plate to the back of the shelf were easily pulled out (with no weight on the shelf at all) resulting in the entire shelf falling off the wall. When we looked at it closely, it is clear that the screws are too short and drilled into weak particle board and therefore can be easily pulled out by hand, even after tightening them! This was the case for both shelves we purchased so definitely not just a fluke! For your safety and the safety of your children, I highly recommend you do not purchase this shelf.

Good for the price, easy to hold.

I love these shelves. They allow me to swap out pictures and decorations with ease. They truly appear to float...no unsightly hardware.

The shelves are what I expected. the two things I would change is have the hangers on 16" centers and the screws longer.

This product was perfect for my needs. We moved into a small Senior Community apartment and using the walls for my framed photos is necessary. They were easy to install and arrived in a timely manner.

Bought two of these and both have chips that were painted over with paint that doesn't match. There was also a black fading in the middle of one of the shelves. Both were warped. The product seemed like it was second hand. Not the quality I expect from the Home Depot.

I searched many sites for these shelves. Many were outrageously prices ($50+ each) I ordered a few from another site and they were OK, just too short for the space. As I looked the 2nd time, I found these. These were, by far, the best quality for the best price I could find. Don't have to worry about pre-drilled holes being in the wrong places. These have hanging brackets on the back. I used them on our stair landing for a display wall. Love them!

I was planning to make my own bookshelves for my son's toddler room, since everywhere else had these type items for much higher prices, or the wrong size, but once I found these we bought 3. They're perfect for how we'll use them, and installation was really easy. Make sure you measure each shelf, as the measurements were not identical for all three, though!

What an easy way to update my living room wall! Now I can display family photos and artwork without taking up shelf space. Streamlined clean look.

The shelves were really easy to mount- as long as you take your time, measure where the predrilled holes are, and use a level! I looked at other outlets for these shelves (West Elm, IKEA) and these were by far the most affordable while still being aesthetically pleasing. I have attached a photo of where I used them. I would definitely recommend these!

We used these shelves to display books in our baby's room. They look great when installed, but getting them there was tricky. We used a laser level and measured and drilled the holes. However, we had assumed the holes on the back would be equal. When we installed the shelves, they were all 1/8-1/2 of an inch off because the holes on the back were not the same from shelf to shelf. It took more measuring and many more holes to get them to hang correctly.

The shelves were easy to assemble, sturdy, and look good, but they definitely are not the same color as in the picture. Outside in direct sunlight they are the color of dark chocolate; in my home out of direct sunlight they are definitely black.

Did the trick, very easy to install and displays my photography. There were some small nicks in the product but other than that I was extremely pleased by the photo shelf.

Substantial construction, well made. The small keyholes on rear require precise installation, which is a bit difficult, but doable. I would order them again if needed.

We love these because I like to change out the family photos often. This lets me place different size and color frames on an easy to reach shelf. It is heavy and sturdy. It is a little darker than pictured, but that made it even better for us. LOVE it.

Buyer Beware! The hardware in this shelf separated and came out of the shelf. Both pictures fell to the floor and cracked!

It wasn't what I wanted for the room. Instead of this product, I repurposed decorative molding from an old wall unit to make EXACTLY what I needed - a shelf for postcards! Total cost for my project: ZERO.

Very poorly made. Returned them first chance I had.

Ordered two, and one fell apart taking it out of the box. The color was dark (espresso) and both had a visible bead of white glue the entire length. These were returned and we bought wood to make our own.

The screws used to hold the hanging brackets are too small, and do not hold in the particleboard. So, I had to replace all of the screws with larger ones, in order to hang the shelves.
