Perfect addition for the custom shower I built for.my client

Great quality product but doesn’t come with anchors just screws.

The handles worked out great. But, drilling through shower tile requires a special drill bit...and special anchors (if you are not anchoring to a stud)...which will increase the total project cost. But, definitely cheaper than the costs associated with slipping and falling.

I manage a business and the garage office gets a lot of traffic from employees. On the big holiday's is extra busy as I'm in the florist business. So one of the employees kinda went thru the glass in the door due to not turning the handle enough to open the door when in a hurry. Thank god he was not hurt so now I've taken the guts out of the handle and installed the grab bar to protect the new glass I installed. It works perfect for my purpose and it's a quality moen product and I like the peened style bar.

I bought two 32-inch stainless steel bars, one each to flank the vintage bath tub tile surround. I was concerned that they might stand out harshly against my otherwise chrome-adorned updated bathroom but they complement perfectly well. The 32-inch bar allows extension low enough to grab from a sitting position in the tub while also being able to work your way up to a standing position, and vice versa. Great for "aging in place" in your own home.

The 32 inch one was just the right fit because my studs were 16 inch on centers. Really love it and don't know why we waited so long to buy one since me and my wife are seniors now and the bar will provide much safety for us getting in and out of the bath.

Used a 1x4 primed pine board to make a mount, attaching to the studs, then put the included mounting screws into the board with 2 of those into studs. Very sturdy and robust "towel bars" to use when exiting shower. Fair price and solid product.

I liked how it mounted as I knew where my wood studs were only because I placed one by my shelf that goes into the wall. Other one I placed on exit of shower where I knew I had a 4x4 under the tiles. I did chaulk the cover plates so I would not have a nasty rusty stain later from the water.

Great ADA Grab Bar, was easy to install Mounting ring has multiple holes for securing , round holes and some slotted so you should be able to fasten into a stud. I mounted one horizonal (also being a towel bar) and one vertical in the bathroom in the event of ever being need.

I install these in hones for home health companies. Can't beat how the weight rating and conceal ring to hide all the screws to give it a nice finished look.

Grab bar was easy to install, versatile as far as having holes on the end so you could mount it no matter where you wanted it.

I bought this product (Moen R8718) in stainless last year when we remodelled our shower. We have been very happy with the grab bar which is solid and looks good, but was priced lower than many others. This year I wanted to puchase again when we remodelled our guest bath. I accidentally purchased the polished stainless (Moen R8718PS) and I am so glad I did. It matches our chrome fixtures perfectly and really looks nice while still just as functional. (See photo.) Just be sure to add a stud under your tile so the grab bar is properly anchored and you will be pleased with the result.

AS expected. Except quality control should have caught a defect on the finished product. Both 18 inch bars had a slight imperfection, down to metal on one end near the inside of the curve,

Excellent product design and easy to install! The peened textured finish surface is perfect so we get a good grip. Also, we use as a combination grab bar & towel bar by our Jacuzzi tub.

Nice and strong. As with any type of grab bar, you have to make sure they are mounted really well. I usually try to secure bars like this to the studs when possible, but a lot of times the studs aren't exactly where you need them. So for this bar, I ended up using WingIts brand anchors to secure it to the drywall. Whatever way you choose to mount bars, you just got to make sure they are strong and steady.

perfect, I just had this installed into my bathroom and now feel safe standing to shower as well as being able to pull myself up from the tub. The price was great too for a nice looking addition to my bathroom

Beautiful polished brass grab bar. Secures to the wall very easily and the plate covers the base no problem. Nice product!

The bathroom grab bar is a very attractive safety device. I bought the Moen polished brass in 18" and 24" sizes for my shower stall. I also used the secure mount installation package by Moen because where the grab bars were needed I was not able to hit the 2" X 4" studs for mounting. I had to buy a diamond dust hole saw (I needed to go through marble tile and cement board). The secure mount fastener system is very sturdy, very secure behind the wall system. I highly recommend the secure mount system for safety reasons. We are getting up in age and can't afford a bathroom fall or accident!

When you purchase correct drill bit and mounting hardware (not included) installation is simple.

This was the second time I have purchased this Moen product from the Home Depot. Both times I have been impressed with the speed of delivery and especially with the quality of the product. These grab bars are easy to install and very sturdy. Thanks Moen and Home Depot!

Just needed to find the studs - was easy on the wall outside of the enclosure. Inside however, there is cement board under the enclosure. Drilled pilot holes above the enclosure and used a wire to find the studs. Dropped a string down with a nail to guestimate the stud location in the shower. Everything got screwed into the studs providing up to 500 lbs support. Chose the 16" because I wanted horizontal grab bars and studs are 16" on center. I used two one inside the enclosure and one just outside where you step in. This turned out very well. My brother with my help, installed them in about an hour and half.

We have a sunken bathtub, and it was getting more difficult to get in and out of it. We decided to purchase grab bars but were not sure on the length. After reviewing various sites and doing measurements, we determined the 2 48-inch grab bars would be perfect for our configuration. We angled one in the bathtub to give us multi-functions: easy to reach for getting in and out of the tub, easy to hold on to and lean against if bending over to turn on the water to fill the tub, and something to hold/grab if needed while taking a shower. The other one was placed vertically on the outside back wall of the tub to make it much easier to get in and out of the tub. We love the brushed stainless with peened finish. Our tile is white, and we thought about a white finish, but with our hard water, we thought the finish would eventually yellow. The bars were installed Saturday, and it's amazing the difference they have made. Extremely happy with the look, the quality, and the usefulness. I cannot attest to the ease or difficulty in installing since our contractor did the installation.
