If you are unable to install the grab bar into wood studs, we would suggest purchasing our SecureMount anchors SMA1000CH. If you can mount one end of the grab bar into a wall stud and only need one SecureMount Anchor, we suggest purchasing SMA1005CH. Moen’s SecureMount anchors require a 1-1/4” hole be drilled into the wall and 3-1/2” of open space behind the wall for installation.
