The collar works and is exactly the device needed to operate the HiTech Pet door. The collar has now been working for several weeks without any problems.

I read the reviews that it would stop working, that even buying replacement collars and batteries and sensors wouldn't work. But I didn't believe it, how could a company stay in business and produce such a bad product. I was wrong this really was horrible product and a waste of a lot of money!

The product is not well made. This is a replacement as the top cover piece broke off from the bottom which made the sensor not work. I hope this new one lasts. Other than that- it works well for my door.

The High Tech dog door is a life saver since we work and dont expect our dogs to cross their legs all day. the batteries do die pretty quickly; mostly they last about 4 months. Most electronic stores carry them and we always keep extras in the house.

Bought as replacement for previous High Tech collar. Did not realize the battery was propriortary and quite expensive. Worked fine with my existing door until battery went dead and then found about battery replacement. I guess I will just buy two new collars. My dogs need these collars. I am tired of gettling up to let them out and in and not being able to use $350 door. I think High Tech should do something. Glenn
