Very disappointed with 4.75 Gal. 887G Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Gray Roof
Very disappointed.
Purchased from Home Depot while ago 11 x 4.75 gallon of this product for 1200 sq feet roof and I was not happy with this item at all. We had to spent a lot of money which was not worthed.

Tony, we are very concerned that you are not happy with Henry 887 TropiCool Silicone that you purchased. I noticed that you applied eleven buckets of 887 to your 1200 square feet roof which seems like an awful lot of product for the square footage. 887's suggested coverage rate is 1.5 to 2 gallons per 100 square feet meaning that 5 gallons would do the roof at 2 gallons per 100 square feet. While we don't know the nature of why you are dissatisfied with Henry 887 we strongly encourage anyone that is not 100% satisfied with a Henry product reach out to us at jszymanski@henry.com or Product Support at 800-253-0268 so that we can understand what the problem is and correct it

Good product. I would suggest applying a product to help it stick to bare concrete before applying though. I put it straight on new concrete roof and it did not stick to about a third of the roof. I had to peel it off those areas and apply another coat. Kind of expensive to have to do that. I would also suggest pouring it on then rolling it so you can get a good thick coat.

With regard to 887 TropiCool's application to a cement roof, if the roof surface is not pressure washed there is often an invisible layer of dust on the roof.
