The fan was easy to install. love the look and performace. I live in a condo and the light turns on by itself. Is there a way to change the frequency?

Since I ordered online, I didn't know that the lighting was so dim....smalll candelabra bulbs were used. It doesn't give enough light to the room. I will be returning it.

This fan is both beautiful and easy to install. I really like that there are no cords or chains hanging down as it gives it a much cleaner look. My dad did the installation and said it was the easiest fan he'd ever installed, and he has a few installations under his belt. The remote control can either sit on a night stand or be put in a drawer if, like us, you use alternate light sources or it can be secured to the wall in place of a light switch. We are very pleased with the purchase and the look and quality of the fan.

This fan is perfect for our house! It is flush to the ceiling for a room that does not have tall ceilings.

We bought two of these fans. One has a slight noise to it and one is perfectly silent. Overall the fans are very good looking and perform well in 2 bedrooms. However they do not throw much light so I would be cognescent of where you are placing them.

Ordered this fan for my 89 year old mom for her small kitchen/dining area. She needed a small flush mount ceiling fan w remote. This one was perfect. She's happy so I'm happy!

Purchased 4 of these for remodeling. First 2 installed in new rooms and they worked like a charm. 3rd unit installed in last room and it worked great-for 5 days then the light would not turn off. Swapped out with the last one only to determine the motor had a bad capacitor not allowing fan to turn at all. Ordered another fan (#5) and installed and found the light did not dim most of the time and when it did, it turned off and back on before letting go of remote button. Ordered fan number 6 and wait another week for delivery as it is an online item only. I did note that these fans must have been made at the beginning of the production run as the serial numbers were below 100. Last fan installed that finally worked (so far) had a serial number close to 200. We did add dimmable LED 60W (comparable rated) on all fans and they work just fine. They look great and work ok once you find a working unit. Bottom line, 4 installations to get 1 good working fan was not what I bargained for when purchasing Hampton Bay, not to mention waiting more than 3 weeks combined for the "Online only" item to be delivered.

Fan was easy to install looks beautiful and, last but not least, is very quiet. Wasn expecting the quiet. Laniappe.

We purchased this ceiling fan to replace an older failed one and had it professionally installed by a local electrician. Based on the time it took him to remove the old one and install the new one, assembly and installation was not at all difficult. Since the old fan was pull-chain operated and it separated from the fan, we decided to try this remote controlled unit and so far, it has been great. The Fan speeds, On/Off, Light and Dimming are all remote controlled and the only criticism is the light fixture. The globe that comes with it causes the light produced by three 40-watt lamps to be quite dim but we plan to replace these with three 60-watt LED lamps. Be careful, though! The first pack of lamps that we purchased, at Home Depot, were in a 3-Pack and seemed ideal. But, when I read the labeling more closely, I saw that they were "...not to be used in a totally enclosed fixture..." So, they will be exchanged for ones that do not have such a restriction. Now, it remain\s to be seen if this fan matches the 20 years that we used the now defunct Panasonic ceiling fan??

I needed a remote fan, bought this one based on high reviews. I am very pleased. It is attractive, quiet, and seems to be of good quality. I did have it professionally installed along with some other work I was having done, the electrician seemed to have no problems installing it.

I am a do it yourself person with five bedrooms with ceiling fans. So I have put in quite a few ceiling fans this is by far the easiest one I have ever done. It seems like they specifically went out of their way to make things convenient easy and simple good fan easy install works well

This fan was a replacement for one that we had in our living room. While it's hard to tell how something is going to look in real life just from looking at the photo on the website, we took a chance with this fan--and we couldn't be happier. Installation was simple, the fan itself is gorgeous, and we love the fact that it has a remote....no chains or strings hanging down! It's practically noiseless and does a great job of moving the air around. Highly recommend this fan to anyone!

The light kit is totally wrong for this fan. If you buy a 52 inch fan, you have a large room to cover. The provided light kit, at maximum setting on the remote, could be called a night light at best. The 52 inch fan I replaced had lights that would completely brighten the living room. The fan is very quiet, and does it's cooling job to rate 4 stars.

Looks good with decors in house. Purchased two and they were the look we wanted.

We ordered this fan to replace an old, noisy, wobbly fan in our den, and we're very pleased with our purchase. We hired an electrician to install it, as I no longer do anything requiring a ladder. He installed it quickly and easily, with no problems. The new fan works perfectly, is quiet and stable, and the remote control makes it a breeze to use. Perhaps best of all, it was less than half the price of the fan we installed in our bedroom, but it's every bit as quiet and stable. It was definitely a good buy.

We have only had our fans installed for about 2 weeks. We bought 3. We replaced the bulbs with LED to conserve energy but also to get more light. We enjoy the dimming feature on the light. It was nice to leave dim lights on overnight for guest. The fan is quiet and effective. Both light and fan are easily controlled with remote.

Installing this fan to a 3-way switch system is very difficult and the directions were not helpful in that regard. Installation time was 2 hours by a professional installer. Do-it-yourselfers beware if you have a 3-way switch. Also the light on/off feature as well as the dimmer feature do not work.

Easiest fan I've ever installed. When I turned on the breaker , the fan took off at full speed and the lights came on. The remote control didn't work. The red light came on when pressing the button, but nothing happened. Called up service center and another remote for the inside of the fan was sent immediately.Great service by the way.This one arrived,and I wired it which was easy.This one didn't work at all! What are the odds of two bad parts? So the moral to this story is check the battery in the hand remote, even if it's brand new and operating the lights on the remote? Last thing I could think of and this fan is working great. This battery came with the fan and was shrink wrapped and still didn't have enough power to broadcast the signal.

Solid construction and so quiet. I only hear a faint "whirring" of the blades when it's on high. Other than that, I don't hear it all. I'll never buy anything but Hampton Bay fans from here on out.

This fan looks and works great. For the price and it being on sale was a steal. Plus it is super easy to install. I highly recommend it to anyone.

This fan is beautiful and works great I think the only thing is I wish it put out a little bit more light. I do have lamps in the room so it works for me . I wouldn't choose this fan if it was my only source of light.

All fans have a lot of parts and are not easy to instill. This fan is the same. It is quality fan and runs quiet without vibration. Basicly what you look for in a fan, but not inexpensive.
