The fan does not sound silent,there is a rubbing sound when it turns,at any of the three speeds.

Easy to put together but more detail could be put in the instructions about removing the plates for flush mounting and attachment of the light kit. Wasn’t hard to figure out if you’ve done it before.

I purchased 2 fan both were easy to assemble, one...
I purchased 2 fan both were easy to assemble, one works perfect the other is way out of balance for some reason. Don't like the pull chain have the go through the glass light shade, you have to make sure the fan chain is lined up or you risk breaking the chian everytime you pull it.

We have reached out to the manufacturer and their reply is "We're happy to hear that the fan was easy to assemble. When properly installed, this fan should operate wobble-free. Most balance issues can be attributed to loose parts. Please make sure that the outlet box is securely fastened to the house support structure. Also, make sure the set screw in the motor collar is completely tightened and that the slot on the ball of the downrod is properly seated on the tab in the mounting bracket. Please also make sure the blade arms and blades are completely tightened. If that doesn't resolve the wobble issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-434-2678 and one of the team members will be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Nice looking fan that moves a lot of air. Blades are wood not plastic so it looks like quality not cheap. Very happy with the fan and install was pretty standard.
