Q:The remote green lights go on, but we can not turn the fan on with it. The light will go on with the pull chain but the fan will not go on while pulling the chain. This isn?t a year old yet.

A: One of the wires from the remote part in the fan may have come loose. Take lite fixture off and ck that all wires are secre where the wirenut connects them

A: Thank you for your question. This fan doe not include a remote. If you have added a remote control to the fan, the fan speed pull chain must be set to high (typically one pull) and the light pull chain set to on (1 pull) prior to using the remote. If the pull chains are not set properly, the remote will not be able to control the fan. If this does not resolve the issue, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Q:Is this fan base more of a grayish color? Or a green, or a Silver? As far as blades, are they light with maybe a green hint? Trying to figure out if they'll go with others we have. We need light blades & a base More Similar to a Bronze or a Golden Bronze.

Q:Just purchased the Hampton Bay Costa Mesa fan(52656). What color is this fan really supposed to be? All photo show, bronze base with white blades, but mine is a grayish green! Box lists all correct information

A: Thank you for your question. The fan housing is weathered zinc finish which is somewhat similar to a bronze finish. The photos online show the blades in reclaimed oak finish which is a light tan color, not white. The blades may have a very slight green tint depending on the lighting situation where the fan is installed.

A: Thank you for your question. This fan is only available in the 56" size. Other comparable fans include the 52" or 44" Palm Cove, 52" Nassau, or 48" Lakemoore.
