If you rely on the fan itself for cooling you will be disappointed. I was disappointed in the speeds and amount of air it generated. The fan itself is pretty.

Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about the fan. Please make sure that the fan is operating in the proper direction to create a downward airflow. The reverse switch is located just above the light kit on the switch cup of the fan. Please also note that if installed in the flush mount configuration, the airflow performance may be less as there will be less available air to circulate between the ceiling and blades. If you feel the fan is not operating properly, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

The fan is beautiful. People comment on it being green in their reviews. It is not green colored at all. It puts off plenty of air on my bedroom. I highly recommend.

This fan is soooo beautiful!! It moves a lot of air at low speed. The only problem is that The light bowl cracked easily while being installed... I was able to get it replaced as a one time favor. I hope to get 2 (or 3) more in the mahogany choice, once they are in stock again.

I am extremely disappointed in the fan. I purchased it, picked it up in November and it was installed while I was not here. When I saw it, I thought it was the wrong fan - it was not like I ordered. So I purchased a new one so that I could hang it when the "wrong" one was taken down. We did take it down and hung the new one- and it was exactly the same but NOT as pictured on the website - not at all. The blades on the site are almost white. These are a brownish color. After going through all this and spending $200 for this fan - well I will write to the company and will look at different fans next time. I am not only disappointed, I am mad.
