Although all the parts were included, it is cheaply made, difficult to get it properly put together, lid does not close unless unless pushed down. If I didn’t get rid of the box, I would see if I could return it assembled. Lastly, it’s too big and cumbersome.

The box is sturdy, but is poorly engineered. Water gathers on the top when it rains and when you open the lid, the water is channeled right into the box instead of running off onto the deck.

Nice to have some storage outside for the outdoor materials. Installation was pretty easy but the lip doesn't line up 100%, you have to push the front wall in a bit to close it flush. Not a real big issue but is annoying to do each time.

This box went together very easily and surprised me in a few of the design points. There are threaded inserts installed in the plastic and machine screws used for a number of the connections. There are a couple of self tapping screws, but very few. The lid hinge is all along the back (sort of like a piano hinge), not just a couple in the corners. The gas shocks are pressurized and hold up the lid once lifted, yet allow the lid to be closed easily. Someone did their homework before designing this great box.

If it wasn't such a pain to return, we would have. The size is great. Bigger than expected. But it allows rain in so it's not water tight. Because of that reason, wasps were able to get in and build a nest. Not exactly what we wanted. We'll move it off our patio and use it inside but we'll go with a different brand for our next deck box.
