Just has good than any expensive R.O.
Easy to install. But the faucet kept leaking from the air hole. Wrote to the company they told us to clean the black hose going to the drain. Tried this, did not work kept leaking. Then we check the faucet again ended up that the little screw under was loose. Tighten this and bingo problem solve. Thought of sharing this info in case it happens to someone else. For the price this is a great system. Always had a Rainsoft R.O. even were a distributor in the 80's. This one is just has good and a lot less maintenance. Price is great

This was my first RO water purification system and I am well satisified
The installation was easy and the TDS was reduced from 7.5 to 1.0 ppm. I want to buy another unit when it is available.

      Good product
This is my third reverse osmosis system. The previous ones were a NIGHTMARE to change the filters. Messy and on my first system I ended up with leaks. The quality of this unit is much better than the GE I replaced. The only problem I had was to install the drain adapter. It would not fit into my current plumbing configuration. I used a drain saddle that Home Depot did not stock. I ordered in on Amazon.

      Clear, fresh water.
I had a system that was 'broken' during a remodel of the kitchen and was looking for a replacement unit. This system takes up less room and works as well or better. Because I wanted the undercounted space for storage I chose to have the system located in the basement. I had a qualified plumber do the install because of the distance and let's just face it, I'm color blind and the tubing was colored. I really enjoy the system and the fresh, clear water.

      All In One Filter System
This is truly a great filter. It has everything needed in one package. This filter does take some planning to make sure you have the needed space to install everything. This takes a good four hours for the install and you will need a good selection of tools. The main thing that makes this filter great is the all in one filter body. This eliminates the need to find space and install 3 separate filters. This unit is as compact as you're going to find, a little less than 2 square feet of space is needed. Once I got my filter up and running I noticed that it uses a fair amount of water to flush the filter. I haven't measured the amount but it may be a consideration for some users in areas that are restricting water use. This is the only reason for the four stars. This is a very nicely designed unit that does a good job filtering water. It takes water that smells of sulfur to clean sweet water. If you have the time and tools to install this filter you won't be disappointed

      WORKING GREAT SO FAR
I purchased this yesterday.it took about 1 1/2 hours to install.the instructions seem to jump around but towards the end it makes sense..only complaint so far is a broken faucet hose that I had to go back to depot and get a replacement.not loud and no leaks that I can see.only reason I have it 4 stars is because I haven't been able to taste the water yet.all in all I can't imagine it won't taste good.

        Very Beautiful...
I live in an area where the water is hard. Even after i shower i am so skin dry. I will not drink the water as it doesn't taste that good. I received this under the HD Seeds program and was so eager to install it. So i installed it and i couldn't be happier. Not only do i have great tasting water, i don't have to go to the store any more to fill up my bottles. Big savings all around This unit installed so easy i couldn't believe it. Now i can have fresh tasting water without having to worry about running out. I took off one of the filters to just try how easy it would be.... and it is so simple a child could do it. Love this dispenser so so much.

        Great tasting water!
Fairly easy to install and no more bottled water expenses. Having the tap right at the sink and no bottles cluttering-up the fridge is very nice.

        Works well
This works well and does produce pure water. The only thing I don't like about an RO system is the water that goes down the drain during processing. I was not aware of that before.

Good filter, but Reverse Osmosis, by design, wastes a lot of water
This filter is easy to install and a good value, but living in California, water conservation is important and the reverse osmosis process wastes a lot of water compared to how much water it produces. Once installed you won't notice the loss of water since it is directed right to the drain, but it's a continuous few gallons an hour that doesn't stop when the clean water tank is full (this is standard for all RO systems). If you're in California, I do not recommend this project, you may want to see if the carbon filter models by Glacier Bay will work with your water quality since that filtering process wastes no water. In other locations, that do not have drought problems, I do recommend this product. Water waste aside, this filter is very easy to install, as easy as putting in a kitchen faucet. The push in PEX tubing is easy to cut to length and connect. The system will gurgle as it fills with water and displaces any air bubbles. The faucet comes with an air gap to prevent water contamination in the event of a plugged drain. The water quality is as good as bottled water, it removes the hard scale we get from our Redondo Beach water. The clean water tank holds a few gallons and provides a good flow of clean water for drinking. If you deplete the tank completely, you can only get a slow trickle of water, but this is rare.

        1-2-3 Installation and Maintenance
I have installed several water treatment systems over the years, and this has to be the prettiest and most simplified for installation and maintenance. The overall design is the same as all others, but how it is packaged makes a world of difference. The system arrived in a well packaged double box with extra cardboard and bubble wrap in critical areas. Everything is color coded and the instructions are excellent, even for the first time installer. The biggest reason I selected this model is the unique cartridge box, that lets me sit the cartridge system on the bottom shelf under the sink instead of needing to mount it to the side wall. It makes the cartridges easy to access and quick to replace. Everything except the tools in included in the box for a standard under sink install. A tap for the water line that screws into the current shut off valve, so no need to install a saddle valve that might leak. And a drain for the purge water that fits into most existing plumbing traps. Other than the unfortunate need to make room under the sink, installing this model was a real pleasure compared to others I have used. Again, while the overall design is the same, the way it is packaged makes it so much more pleasurable to install and change the cartridges each year is now so much easier with the quick front access design.

        What a difference
We have well water and pretty poor quality water. We tried the 3 stage under the sink filter with negligible results. This has made a HUGE difference in our water quality without having to purchase or rent an expensive whole home system. We really only wanted to have a source of water that we could actually drink, this fit the bill. Installation was straight forward and anyone who has ever done basic plumbing will have no problem with this. Filters are not to expensive and it is recommended they be replaced every 6 months, I will probably not stick to that schedule based on the small amount we will use this. One word of caution, it has a rather large footprint. Be prepared to sacrifice the space under that side of your sink. The only reason I gave it four stars was it can be a bit noisy, but maybe all the systems like this are. Not like a deafening roar but it can be heard when cycling

        Response from THD-CSJun 30, 2015
Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, Regarding the noise in the faucet, there are several configurations listed in the manual that offer a more remote location for the air gap. This may resolve the issue you are having. If this does not solve your problem, please contact our customer service team at 1-800-247-1087.
