        Answer This Question

A:  It is moderately difficult to install, mainly depending on your supply valve under the sink and there are a number of water lines that need to be "plugged in" correctly after being trimmed to length. I had to buy a new supply valve to make the installation work ($12). The 2 filters need to be changed every 6 months, the 3rd every year.

        by|May 4, 2023

A:  The pre/post filters will need to be replaced every 6 months, while the center membrane should be replaced every 2-3 years. This system allows for an easy, DIY installation but some plumbing experience may be required.

            Answer This Question

A:  This system has 3 filters, the pre/post filters will last for 6 months and the membrane will last 1-3 years depending on volume of water used and local water conditions. The daily production rate is 18.46 gallons. The system is 5" W x 14" H x 17" D. The tank is 14" H x 9" W.

Q:HOW DOES THIS SYSTEM DIFFER FROM THE WHIRLPOOL, WHER25, EXCERT ON THE FILTER MOUNTING?

              Answer This Question

A:  Both systems reduce many contaminants but the Glacier Bay Reverse Osmosis system allows for easier installation due to no mounting to the side of your cabinet during installation. This system also allows for easier filter changes as it has a better angle to change filters from.

                Answer This Question

A:  The incoming pressure doesn't influenced the outgoing pressure. I'm set at 35 - 60 (well water) once the pressure tank fills up it cuts off the supply. There is minimum and max operating pressure.
