I get this filter all the time for my ice maker and it's perfect. Easy install, instructions are great. A very easy routine maintenance job to keep ice from developing a bad taste over time.

We noticed the ice had an off taste and remembered we needed to change the in-line water filter on our automatic ice maker. We simply add the filter to the waterline on the back of the appliance. Easy to change out & less expensive than a filter that goes inside the appliance. All better now… the ice is crystal clear & tasteless.

Rated as 1 star for the picture on line shows the ends as being threaded vs a 1/4" push to connect system. Had to reorder a different filter with 1/4" threaded ends to receive connector adapters which worked well. This product should work with 1/4" tubing as a push to connect filter.
