Easy to install and easy to remove used filter.

Old one of same type had cracked and leaked all over my kitchen floor and under floor i am waiting for replacment from different manufacturer.

The employees who helped me were extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Buying the water,ice maker filter was good after finding someone to find it for me. But unfortunately it was not the right one.I had to bring it back and that experience was very good also. The cashier was very nice.

It was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to replace.

I used to have the other model that just connected with clips, but it was discontinued and the person at Home Depot said that this was the updated model. However you have to cut the plastic tubing and get different compression adapters to get it to work. It worked fine for about 2 days and then I heard a very large pop in the middle of the night. I ran into my kitchen and saw that the connections had come off and that my kitchen was totally flooded. This thing is a piece of junk and they need to make sure that it doesn't leak. I spent all day with a wet vac and a fan and I think it destroyed my kitchen cabinets that were underneath the sink.

Took the funky flavor out of my ice! Had the filter installed in 30 seconds. Cut the water line between the refrigerator valve and the ice maker and plugged the tubing right into the filter. Couldn't be much easier. Instructions advised flushing the filter for five minutes but I just made a few batches of black ice and it was ready. (The activated carbon doesn't hurt you if you eat it; but you don't want to breathe it.) We are on city well water which tastes good and doesn't smell but there was a slight moss/algae flavor that came out when frozen. Now, it's just cold, clear, and tasty. Best small purchase I've made in a while.

I have been using this filter regularly for over 10 years. It works well. Just remember to flush it thoroughly before putting it in service.

This filter is fairly easy to install for an in-line filter. Wish it filtered for more items but it definitely improves the taste of our water.
