Happy with my purchase! I would like to purchase it again in the future.

I live in the country and had to convert to propane use. It was a nightmare of a job. Basically I almost had to disassemble the dryer to perform the conversion. Then of course reassemble. I am pretty handy and it took my wife and I over 4 hours. My advice, hire it done whatever the cost. My wife loves the convience of the unit and it does a good job of washing and drying.

The washer/dryer has been working and, tucked away in a small closet, saves us space in our apartment.

I am extremely happy with the laundry center. The size of both the washer and dryer are great. Just as big as full size appliances. The only drawback is that the dryer does not have a buzzer to signal that the cycle is ending.

I'm happy so fair. they need to give more instructions.

To make a long story short, after having a service tech come out 3 to 4 times in the past 8 months, I found out you CANNOT use floodproof hoses. I had upgraded the hoses and had those put on during installation of the washer/dryer. Having changed the hoses, the machine is working wonderfully.

I love the fact that the washer has a deep well that holds a large load. The dryer works well on all settings.

We bought this GE appliance to replace the old GE washer/dryer we had which was great as we used it for14 years! It has great features but the dryer does not dry the clothes (cottons) well as they are still a little damp (the old one we replaced did dry the clothes well!) Other than that - the unit is great and it fit well in our small kitchen. Noise level - acceptable. This unit helped our daily activities a little bit easier.

I bought this set-up for my small space. I'm so happy I did, makes room for other stuff in my laundry area.

I bought this product in 2012. The washer portion of the unit has had to be repaired twice. It is now broken again for the third time. I have followed the directions to the T and the unit still breaks once a year. The last tech that was out to fix the unit said that this particular model has a lot of problems. This machine is a piece of J.U.N.K!!!

It runs quiet, clean my cloth very well. Compacted design fits into my small laundry room.

This unit is great. It takes very little space and washes and drys a full load of laundry. The dryer is better then our old full size dryer. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

replaced my old Ge unitized washer/dryer with this one. Was worried about some of the comments. Have been using it for a couple weeks now and haven't had any issues. It's not the quietest but it is more quiet than my last unit.

We do have a full size laundry downstairs. When wife fell down the steps, it was time to move laundry upstairs. This unit fits the closet perfectly. Runs great and the wife is very happy, no more steps.

We just hooked it up a few weeks ago & have used it only twice. I am very happy with it. We installed it into a unused closet.

My old washer/dryer gave up the ghost after 25 years. What finally convinced me to get this GE model was the extra-large capacity, and the good reviews. Some complained of noisy operation--they must be super-sensitive. It's so quiet compared to the old one there's no comparison--and it's set up right next to the kitchen, out in the open. I swear, the clothes are cleaner, it takes fewer loads to get it all done, and it's gentler on the clothes, too. More efficient, too. We never even have to run the dryer on the high drying cycle, even for towels or t-shirts and jeans. My wife loves it too. Our single complaint is that the washer lid has a downward angle to it in the front. We used to use the old washer lid as a good temporary storage option, but now, things slide off and fall down. I don't know why GE couldn't produce this with a flat lid, but, what the heck, it's a pretty minor complaint.

I as forced to buy because my dryer caught fire. They're stackables so I had to buy the same thing. is so large inside and so much more efficient. It's great.

I mistakenly assumed that the washer and dryer were separate until I saw one power cord. If the washer opr dryer goes bad ( and it will ) then I'll have to replace both washer and dryer. Again, my mistake for not being more observant . You could have built them separately

We have had this unit for 3 months.  Clothing gets caught in the machine during the dry cycle and marked up with black smudges.  We had the unit replaced with another unit of this same model.  The new model functions exactly the same during the dry cycle.

Have had this unit for about 3 yrs now and the spin cycle on the washer is very loud,you can here it all over the house. Will be glad when it dies so we can get a different type of waher/dryer. Would not own another GE product.

Just purchased this piggyback unit which was the largest washer tub available in this type of unit. There is an Auto-Load Sensing for water level so no waste.

This fits in a small space like it should. And does what is suppose to do. 

I bought this unit a week ago and love it so far! The simple clean design and features are exactly what appealed to us in an age of computerized and plastic bells and whistles that the industry seems to be pushing more and more. This ideal sized unit preserves our affection for top load washers and straightforward functional design. Love it.

Just purchased this product and i know i made a right choice after comparing it to other manufactures for price and quility.

The first time I dried clothes in this unit, it shredded and stretched some articles of clothing. I called GE to find out what could be done and they sent a repair guy out. He said that the issue is common and is due to a design flaw with the dryer. His recommended solution was to dry everything on the delicate cycle. This was unacceptable to me so I called GE to request that they take the unit back. To make a very long and extremely painful and time-consuming story short, GE's customer service disputed what the repair person said (even though it was a GE repair person), told me that the unit was operating as designed, and refused to take the unit back. I can with 100% certainty say that GE has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only will I never again purchase a GE appliance, I will not purchase anything with the GE logo. I would strongly advise any potential customer to purchase another brand.

I HATE this machine and deeply regret buying it. While I went with the overall good average rating, I should have paid more attention to a number of previous poor reviews that mention a design flaw that causes it to destroy clothes: it twists off buttons and hooks and straps. Just past the year warranty, it started rotating wildly and spin performance became erratic, and a few months later, the washer tub actually broke off the hoses (burning rubber smell etc.). The repair man pointed out the poor design of this machine, which he says uses over-twisting to save water, and told me that GE actually outsources this model to some other company, and he wishes Home Depot didn't sell it because people hate it. I have other good experiences with Home Depot appliances, but on this one, I am a VERY UNHAPPY CAMPER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product a few weeks, and so far so good! I placed it in a small closet space, its quite as a washer/dry should be, offers many features for washing and drying and it gets my clothes clean, and dry fast. I'm completely happy with it.
