This stackable washer and dryer was a great fit for my basement. Easy, space saver and reliable. The Dryer Is quite noise and can be annoying. The one feature I could live without!

This is our third time to purchase this dual combo washer/dryer.

I only have these appliances for over a week but really enjoy it

This washing machine gets the job done. However, it is a bit noisy.

THe washed/dryer combo was purchased in 06-13 from Best Buy 0% financing. That was the selling point and the size was perfect or our apartment. However the unit was paid off, well.... The unit broke down and we where told this was going to cost $600.00. The washed leaked water all over our floors into the adjacent room. With the internet I was able to remove teh panel and see a bearing that waw the broken part, grease all over. We are not a couple that are hard on our machines and I have had a similar model in teh past Whirlpool that lasted 12 years with replacing the belt 2. Very diapointed in this unit and questioning if this is a annual event to repair..... Apparently bearings are plastic with steel balls now.... BUYER BEWARE!

The washer is loud! It works well but it sounds like a dump truck in the normal wash cycle. Other than that, this is a good product.

Works like a champ and a great space saver too. Now I have room for a pantry! Perfect for the busy no fuss person that I am.

I am very pleased with my new GE Stackable washer/dryer. It is very quiet and does a great job cleaning. The size is wonderful and gives you lots of options for different loads. The dryer is large and works great. Lint is cleared beautifully and the lint trap is easy to clear. My only suggestion for GE is to have some kind of bell or buzzer for when the wash is done. That would be helpful to me.

I purchased this appliance after my previous laundry center finally gave out after 19 years of excellent service. It is a great appliance. I especially like that it affords me the ability to control the many washer and dryer settings, which many other models do not offer. It looks great in my kitchen, as well. I love it!

Bought this and had it installed today. So far impressed with speed. The only thing I have noticed is it is a little loud.

bought this for rental property for space saving features

I bought this about 6 mos ago and I love it. This is a remarkable machine, gets my clothes clean and the dials are very easy to understand. The dryer has a easy dispose of lint trap to empty.

The washer and dryer are very quiet. This could be installed in your bedroom and used at 3 AM and no one would know it was running.

Very satisfied w/ this washer and dryer. Highly recommended.

The unit is very nice and easy to operate for my Mother. The control knobs are centrally located and easy to turn for my mother with her arthritis.

We should have made this purchase a very long time ago! This is a large capacity set, easy to use and has just enough settings! We previously had a front load, side by and I hated it. Smelly washer, no agitator and both washer and dryer were constantly having to be repaired. The control panel, being a push button, with all the bells and whistles. So glad we returned to a dial type control with an agitator which gets our clothes cleaner!

I was hesitant to buy another GE W/D combo due to my last one breaking after only 4 years (literally exploded inside- W/D specialist said he had never seen anything like it). This one looked nice and the reviews were decent. I was hopeful. It worked fine for the past 367 days, but today it broke; 2 days after the 1 year warranty expired. Don't waste your $, buy another brand. Last GE appliance I will purchase.

This laundry center is my first major appliance manufactured by GE. It fits well in a closet area off the kitchen and delivers a punch for its small size. It does make unusual sounds during the cycle which was a concern at first.

I bought this model 3 mos ago and I love it! Washes clothes great and gets them clean, easy to use dial.

I have been using this washer/dryer set for about a year. I miss our old washer/dryer, but I guess this is what we settle for in the days of "energy savings." (I don't really see the savings when we have to dry loads twice, and when the delicate cycle won't remove simple dirt--just a dirt smudge, not a stain--this delicate cycle is basically a light rinse with soapy water.) I agree with another reviewer who complained about the washer lid not being flat--not a good place to set your coffee. Also, the washer is my number one suspect in the disappearance of some lightweight articles of clothing over the past few months, but I have not confirmed that, so I give it a three rather than a two.

These all-in-one units are a good alternative when space is at a premium and/or stackables are too pricey. It has great capacity, and appears to work well. Negatives - quality is average, and misses several features: tubs are not stainless steel, dryer door not reversible (no matter what anyone tells you), noisy, controls are click position and not universal, no light in dyer, no buzzer, no detergent fill. But, it does the trick, and sellers mostly price at below MSRP.

I expected better from a GE design. The dryer door is a hazard it keeps closing while attempting to load and unload. It hits my shoulder and hits my head when I bring up clothes from the tub. I now remember to jam it open. It has an intermittent horrible clanking sound when the washer is working. It cleans and dries as well as my old washer of 20 years. I have had it for 2 months.
