very nice "basic"refrigerator for a rental home -
we needed a refrigerator for rental property with built-in cabinetry and odd dimensions for the refrigerator space. After researching multiple manufacturers' products, GE offered the only refrigerators that fit our requirements and also had all the "basics" and a great appearance.

Terrible clicking noise when generator goes on
I had it services several times. It's a manufacturers issue. I am having it replaces today.

One of a kind
Good amount of space, has a pros/cons metal rack thats an L shape... The light stays REALLY warm though and i feel it inpacts the temperature of our fridge... New-ish development ive been keeping an eye on.. :/

Undecided
The tapping noise that happens when the refrigerator turns on is annoying and surprising. I don't know why it does that. Also, I am not able to keep my vegetables as long in this refrigerator as I did in my previous one.

Delivery was a disaster thanks to HD’s NYC vendor. ...
Delivery was a disaster thanks to HD’s NYC vendor. Fridge didn’t show up due to truck trouble. But somehow it took another week for the item to be delivered. When it did show up the door was installed incorrectly. It then took three week to have the door reversed by GE.

My thoughts
I like the looks of it but it is loud and seems to run often for an energy star appliance. I haven't received my electric bill yet to see if it lowered due to its energy rating. I wish it had separate settings for the freezer & fridge area.

Good storage
This refrigerator has easy access and good storage options. My only gripe would be that the cold air seems to escape very quickly (I.e. when loading new groceries in and out). However, it’s been working well since we bought it.
