Do not buy it, noisy, low liability
I owned this model for less than 4 years; then it was broken totally. How did it die? It cannot be working, although it still had lights on its panel. When it was working, the noise was so loud that it sounded like a helicopter struggling in a thunderstorm. It had a chance of 50% to clean my cookware, even I chose a heavy cycle.

Second product I’ve bought and doesn’t last
I bought both a fridge and dishwasher in 2018. The fridge wouldn’t hold temp, and had to be swapped out. Same thing with the replacement (FFTR1821TB). After having it serviced I swapped it out. The dishwasher (FFBD2406NB) would periodically malfunction and not dry. Now it won’t dry or drain. It has only been 2 years!!

Not What I Expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own all Frigidaire appliances. This dishwasher came new with my new home purchase. It had a very clean look, and ran well for the year and a half that I had it. I never had any issues with this product while I owned it. The problem was that I found it to be good for sanitizing dishes, at best. I had to wash all my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher and often times, I had to wash them when I took them out of the dishwasher. I would also find pieces of sediment inside glassware. I was also disappointed to find that the drying performance was pretty poor. There would be quite a bit of standing water on dishes after running a cycle. I purchased better Frigidaire Dishwasher after finding a deal I couldn't refuse at my local hardware store, and it runs great!

Some tips that can alleviate any drying and cleaning matters with your dishwasher is to ensure that the incoming water is 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ensuring that the incoming water is correct, using the correct cycle setting, along with using rinse aid, and loading the dishes properly can assist with the dishes cleaning and drying properly.
Keep in mind some plastics may need to be towel dried, being that plastics do not get as hot as metal or glass, so more water collects.
Also, it is common to see some water in the bottom after a cycle. If you are seeing more than an inch of water, some tips that can alleviate your concern is to ensure the knockout plug in the disposal has been removed.
You also want to ensure that there are not any kinks in the drain line. A kink in the drain line can cause drain issues or water to pool at the bottom of the dishwasher after a cycle is complete.

It is a great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought all new Frigidaire appliances about 2 years ago, replacing an old non-Frigidaire dishwasher that was almost 15 years old. Wanted everything to match color wise, thus ditched my white Frigidaire fridge and white gas stove. Even bout the Frigidaire microwave of same color.
The dishwasher works just fine. IF YOU READ CLOSELY to reviews, problems are mainly with installation, plumbing/hot water of home, or type of detergent used. This has nothing to do with the actual product. Many bad reviews are about drying. NEW MACHINES do not dry like old ones due to EPA regs.
Frigidaire is a good company with quality and affordable products.

Washer Controls are not easily Viewed

You must open the door to see all the controls and indicator lights on the top edge. There is nothing indicating that the dishes are completed or done washing unless you open it. Then you must close the door to finish. Some times, you need to re-do the dishes to get it correct as the cycle will sometimes cancel after opening the door.

Don't recommend
This dishwasher was brand new when we moved into our current house two years ago. We have never liked this dishwasher and have contemplated getting a new one. Our biggest issue is that the dishwasher does not dry the dishes. We have tried everything, but they are soaking wet whenever we take them out. The most recent annoyance is that the spinner at the bottom came off and melted to the heating element. I have two young children and now the house and dishes smell like burnt plastic that we are breathing in. The dishes all needed to be hand washed to get the smell off of them. Plus having to hand wash the dishes until we can get a replacement part. This is taking time away from my family and that is unacceptable.

Have you checked your drain hose for any kinks or clogs?
In addition, I recommend checking your water temperature. Please review page 11 of your dishwasher’s “Use & Care” guide on how to check your household’s water temp.
Your household water temperature along with the water pressure plays a vital role in your appliance’s performance. The recommended temperature should be 120°F (49°C), and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi). Also, increasing your rinse aid helps with the drying process.

Good Value for the Price

Don’t waste your money.

The soap dispenser won’t open and I’m learning that it’s possibly a control panel issue, which, that repair is more than the unit costs. Great while it lasted, a shame that it didn't

Not the most feature rich or quiet dishwasher, but it did a great job washing, especially for the price. About 4 months ago it suddenly got much louder, then started making strange grinding sounds, now its leaking out the bottom. Plumber says fix would cost more than what I paid to buy it, so will try another brand. The final load was spotlessly clean, so really too bad its failed.

Terrible! Do not buy!

Basic, well performing dishwasher

Won't latch
I Just bought a new house and the previous owners were kind enough to leave us all of their appliances.about half are Frigidaire products and they have been so far so good.However this dishwasher is the only one that I haven't been able to use yet! All the buttons on the panel light up but it won't latch for some reason. I even downloaded the user manual. I would love to give this product a good review but I can't until I use it.

does not actually wash anything
Builder put this dishwasher in my house. I have never hated a dishwasher until this one. I have hand washed more dishes since moving in to this house than ever before. Why? Because this dishwasher won't actually hold most dishes. It can wash normal size plates (square only because round hang down and hit the spray arm on the bottom), it can hold normal size glasses (unless they happen to tip and hit one of the spray arms and then it will beat the glass up enough that it will crack and break). You can't put sharp knives in this dishwasher - it pokes through the holes of the silverware basket and hits the spray arm and stops the dishwasher from running. You can't put any kind of long cooking equipment in it - it hits the top spray arm and stops the dishwasher. You can't put pots or pans in this dishwasher - it isn't large enough. You can't put small plastic containers in this dishwasher - they fall through the holes in the top basket. Basically nothing fits in this dishwasher. Please please DO NOT BUY this dishwasher. It is not worth the time or money. My children hate it too, so that tells you something right there.
