Decent Refrigerator
I would recommend this refrigerator if you are looking for a no-frills fridge. It is somewhat noisy when cycling & it makes a sound as if it is making ice, but it doesn't have an ice maker. If I wasn't in such a rush to get a new one, I would have gotten a better one. In addition, the product had what can only be described as a bullet hole on the front when delivered. The delivery company offered taking some money off, but recommended that I call & speak with Frigidaire. The woman at Frigidaire was rather brisk and I had to go back & forth with her to get a decent amount. (I don't have time to take off work for another delivery.)

Very nice
It was the only refrigerator that would fit in the space I had. I am glad I made this choice as the new one has more room inside & performance is excellent.

This Frigidaire Refrigerator is WONDERFUL!! I LOVE IT!! It keeps my fresh veggies fresh for many, many weeks---even after the package has been opened! The Top Freezer is amazing! In a matter of 2 hours I had new ice cubes! I always keep homemade iced tea on hand---and when my family stopped by unexpectedly they all gravitated to the iced tea they knew I would have. When someone reached for the ice cube trays, I thought, "oh no, they won't be ready yet! BUT they were! I was amazed! I'm very pleased with my Frigidaire Refrigerator and would gladly recommend it!! Disappointing quality
This is the second Frigidaire unit I got, replacing a similar one that I had purchased about 6 months earlier. While the cooling aspects are okay, there is constantly ice formation inside the freezer, around the edges of the door. Multiple efforts to call warranty repair service, replace the seal, replace the door etc have not resolved the issue. I wonder what Frigidaire can do to improve quality and have a satisfied customer?

Amazed
Even though this refrigerator (FRIGIDAIRE) is the same size as my old one, I was amazed at the amount of room inside! The glass shelves (so much easier to clean than racks) are set up in a way to allow all different sized containers. I was actually able to turn off my mini frig in my bedroom because I don't need the extra space anymore. The two fresh drawers are deep so I can fit all my fresh produce in them.
I've had my Frigidaire for about 2 months now and (bonus) my last electric bill came in $17 less than the previous month. So this Frigidaire really is energy efficient!

The unit had a lot of water in the refrigerator
The unit was in our garage and was supposed to be garage ready. The seal was not tight and water evaporated in the refrigerator. The service person said he could try to fix it by putting a sealant on the door. We thought we should not have to do this for a new unit so we returned it. Sorry for the bad review.

Best Purchase

Rough start but ok performance
We bought this fridge a couple months ago and had problems right off the bat! The defrost drain froze up and water pooled on the top shelf of the freezer. However, we called for help and they were able to quickly tell us what to do. It was inconvenient (because we had to move all the food out of the appliance), but it worked! Since then, the fridge has been performing great and there have been no other problems. It looks good too, with a stainless steal front and black sides.

So far so good.
My last Frigidaire was still working after 16 years, but I decided it was time to upgrade after reading from my power util company that you can save up to $150 a year on electric use by switching to a energy efficient model. The new model has been quiter than my previous. So pretty happy.

Roomy refrigerator

Nice & Quiet

you get what you pay for
We have trouble keeping cool things from freezing, and freezing things from thawing. Especially in the back of the refrigerator. And I miss a humidity control that is probably available on more expensive models, as everything gets wet in the refrigerator. We had to get this one because it was the only one to fit the space in an old house, but I wish I had more options. Would not buy this again.

Worst Purchase Ever
This is the first and last Frigidaire purchase I will make! I have only had the unit for 4 months and have already had the repairman here 5 times for two separate issues that still are not resolved. I have contacted Frigidaire repeatedly to replace this refrigerator and I keep getting the run around !

Poor seals
Leaked water from freezer to refrigerator as soon as it was set up. Frigidaire arranged for repairs quickly, but freezer seal still isn't perfect. I expected more from a brand new appliance.

Hey Deb30! I am glad to hear your refrigerator was repaired for the leaking water. I recommend checking your door gasket. The best way to test this would be to place a dollar bill between the body of your refrigerator and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. Freezer frosted and iced over
The freezer of this unit freezes my food but, since day 1, the top of the freezer compartment and the top of the freezer door have been covered in frost and big ice droplets. In the 6 weeks that we've had it, we've had a service technician attempt to repair it 3 times. Finally, they have decided to order a new freezer door. We'll see if that actually fixes the problem. Given this issue, I cannot recommend this unit to others.
