The "Polished Brass" turned out to be coated steel but this was most likely done for strength. Not easily available locally.
price was good and shipping was timely. Just do not advertise steel product as polished brass. Might I suggest. brass finished steel or some other more accurate name.

Excellent for seasonal situations
Excellent for longer situations such as vacations, seasonals, or second homes. Other styles are more suited to daily use. Be sure to use the correct style of drill bit to minimize wood damage. Such as brad point for the pin hole and spade for the larger hole.

The "Special Key" does not fit the screw properly.
I contacted the Polished Brass Wood Window Lock with Special Removal Key company for a new key that works since the one I rec'd doesn't fit the screw well. I was told they don't have any spare keys.
This product is not made very well. :(

I was so impressed with your service. Free shipping and the item arrived in a timely manner.
I have used these window locks for over 30 years.
They are easy to install. However, I lost the key so just needed a replacement.
