These work great, gets very dirty, tells me they are filtering well!
I only buy high MERV rated filters, due to having a dog, lots of dust, and now with hardwood floors, much dust circulates. So, I found these were really good at filtering the air, can tell by how dirty they get. Very good value. No disappointment.

Air filter works great
My son suffers from bad allergies and asthma with this new filer compared to all the cheaper brands I have bought the air quality is so much better. It feels cleaner and fresh.
His asthma and allergies have reduce significant.

Great filter, Not true to size
Filter picks up almost everything only problem is; the size is smaller then other filters the same size. Needed to use foil tape to hold in place.

Faulty Filter
i have a Lennox elite furnace. It is maticulously maintained. This filter choked the airflow through the system so much that it made the high temp limit switch open about every 3-4 minutes due to lack of sufficient airflow. At first I thought that I had a technical problem such as a bad switch because the filter had only been in a couple of weeks, so it couldn't be dirty. Upon inspection of the filter I found that the center of the filter was concave; a result of the force of the fan trying to move air through it. I had been using the Honeywell merv10 filters for years with good results before trying this one, yet when I discovered this DuPont filter on sale I figured I'd try it. Hence I replaced this "high end" filter with a Honeywell merv10 and have had no problems since. That's all.

Hello, CW! Thank you for your feedback. I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Our DuPont Platinum is a MERV12 filter. The higher the MERV rating, the greater the particle capture rate. By ASHRAE standards, a MERV 10 filter will capture 50% or greater of particles with a size of 1.0-3.0 microns and 85% or greater of particles with a size of 3.0-10.0 microns. By ASHRAE standards, a MERV12 filter will capture 80% or greater of particles with a size of 1.0-3.0 microns and 90% or greater of particles with a size of 3.0-10.0 microns. Generally speaking, the higher the MERV rating, the higher the pressure drop. It sounds like your unit is compatible with a MERV10 vs. a MERV12 filter. As with any product, compatibility is key to functionality. Have you checked your HVAC owner's manual for recommendations? We offer a wide range of DuPont pleated filters with a lesser MERV. Dupont filters - excellent ptoduct.
Seems to do everything it says. Very pleased with filter performance. Only wish it didn't cost so much.
Prefer these to all other filters I have tried so far. Fits nicely into place. Some others were lose or slightly on the large side.

Great Product; Great Price
These filters are great! My family has a lot of allergies and we can feel the difference when there is a quality filter for the air to flow through.
These arrived in a timely manner and were just as described. Couple that with a great price to buy in bulk and there's just no other way to go.

Great filters. Maybe too good!
I installed one of these filters and it appears to work very well. I don't wake up congested anymore. However, after about a month of it being installed, my air conditioning froze up and the air flow was minimal. I took the filter out and it was pretty dirty. I put another one in and the air conditioning worked fine. A technician from my heating and cooling company said that sometimes they filter too good and this then restricts air flow. Time will tell if this happnes again.

great for allergens
I had a cheap washable filter for my gas furnace, and was having allergy issues. Replaced that filter with one of these, and it seems to be working very well to clean the air.

Excellent filter, Noticeably Reduced Dust, Removal of Smells
The filter is the best I've owned. I'm a firs time home owner and I replaced the make-do filters provided by my HOA with these Dupont filters and have noticed an improved air quality. Note: dust, smells, etc. have noticeably been reduced.The filter fits perfectly, and lets the HVAC system run freely without a drag on the system often associated with the higher filtration filters.

Loose fit
These fit looser than all the other brands. I buy them just for that reason because my filter slot is smaller than what is normal so these are perfect for me.

High quality filter
Shipped to store ... quickly! Well built paper frame air filter. Although it's rated to remove smoke, it doesn't remove secondary cigarette smoke. Well, it's not a carbon filter, so what can I expect? Still, it's a good filter and it has greatly removed dust and particles in my in-home air. It's a little pricey, but what do you expect from a product with 'Platinum' in its name?

Great value, but a bit undersized than stated
Overall this filters is as good as the 3m 2400 filter I was using. It is a bit smaller but as my filter sits on top of my unit it is fine. Our other unit is sides in and there is a small gap on each side, which we did not have with the 3m's.

Solid furnace filter
This filter is much thinner than others I have tried yet it is well made and sturdy so it fits well in my Intercept housing which is a much larger space. Prior filters were four inches thick. The filters for these just lean against the opening and are not fitted into a slot housing as others are. I am already noticing less dust and my wife has confirmed this. Though you can buy a less expensive filter for sure I have to say that so far (three weeks) it is meeting my expectations. I plan to leave it in for the three months and see how it performs month to month to determine if there is any diminution in its performance. I am glad that I decided to pay up for this better filter. I did not give it a 5 rating since I am still assessing its overall function across its recommended replacement time-frame.
