To start our home is an older not “standard” anything so I did have to cut off an inch but once that was done it went pretty smooth. I really like how it works and attaches. I think it will be very strong and in for the long haul. It matches out faucet and now my mothers robe hood which is the same mat black. Only thing that was difficult was getting the old one off the wall. Being glass tile you gotta be easy. Definitely recommend this. It’s beautiful

The only reason I purchased this towel bar was to match the others in my home, that were installed by the builder. They look nice, but the mounting system is total junk. I've installed 3 of them in my home, but the last one was 18 months ago and I had forgotten how cheesy they are. The "auger wall anchors" are as strong as dried cheese whiz. The first one I attempted, I did as directed "use philips screwdriver to fasten auger wall anchor into 1/2" drywall until...flush against the wall." Well that didn't work - the fastener basically disintegrated when it started to see some resistance. So then I drilled a 1/4" pilot hole. Same thing happened - it fell apart. And so began a 2 hour project that should have taken 20 minutes at the most. Also, the spring-loaded clip mechanism is ridiculous. Why not just use an allen head set-screw like every other towel bar manufacturer. Anyway, do yourself a favor. Read, and heed the other reviews.

The towel rack was very difficult to install and I had a handyman help me. He did lose the instructions but he usually has more success. The little piece has some button that made it difficult to attach to bar to what is nailed in. the anchors given are huge. The rack looks good but one side is looser than the other so I do now know how durable it will be for the future.

Just finished renovating a small guest bathroom and decided I wanted a towel bar in the shower. Wanted something with quality chrome to stand up to the wet shower. This towel bar uses a totally different attachment system and it can be a challenge for those of us who have put up a lot of hooks, towel bars and such over the years. The question became, "can you teach an old dog a new trick?" The secret, of course, is read the instructions! And then think about what you just read and, maybe, read them again. When I stopped assuming that I knew how to install this and started paying attention to the new system things went much better. This new system uses a spring instead of set screws. I suggest keeping the directions if you ever want to remove the bar. The quality of this bar - and the modern look- are just what I wanted. It is heavy and sturdy and should last a long time.

The plastic wallboard screws were eaten by my electric screwdriver. No instructions advise what size drill bit / hole is just right size. The two ends need to extend about another inch inside the provided towel rod, to create an absolutely level assembly. The small depth penetration still allows for wobble, and makes the finished look less professional.

Solidly made, good instructions and template for installation. Minor gripe is that the bar can spin if the mounts/ends are not squeezing it tightly.

This bathroom towel bar looks good installed and appears to be made with high quality materials. It is easy to install; it literally took me 10 minutes.

Too much money - this towel bar should not have been so expensive. It was cheaply made and $20 would have been a bit too much. Ridiculously overpriced.

Looks great. I had some problems during installation with the drywall screws, but after I swapped them out with ones at home, I was able to install the bar.
