Faucet is well-made and was easy to install. We love the spray feature compared to our old unit- very tidy and it functions well.

Very nice faucet. Installation was easy to do by myself. The only design flaw is in the decorative button with red and blue dots. This button covers the set screw on the faucet handle. The button is supposed to stay firm in the set screw socket. But it stays in there very loose and falls out on its own. I have already lost this button. Thanks to the Delta's Customer Service for replacement button. I tried to install it, but it does not want to stay in place. I am thinking of installing it with some kind of adhesive (may be caulk). Otherwise I will lose it again.

Have a Kohler 4 hole double sink and this faucet is sharp looking in it. Not to tall and functions as expected. I paid an excellent price and am very happy with delta.

Hard to review this product. It was shipped to me missing a couple of crucial pieces, making it impossible to install. In addition, the faucet and handle were very banged up and scratched so I wouldn't have wanted to install it anyway. I returned it and bought something at another store. Very disappointing!

Agree about the handle- always wiggling about. There is a plastic part that broke in short order too.

This is a replacement faucet and I would have given it a 5-start rating except that the handle needs an extra washer which our plumber is going to get. So, it leaked--not a lot but I don't want even one drip. For the benefit of this company, there is a small possibility it was the plumber's fault so I will wait and review again once we fix it. In any case, it's absolutely gorgeous. The pull-out pipe is easy to work with and the entire faucet really updated our kitchen. We got this color on sale so it was a really good deal and our home service insurance covered more than half of it. I love it..and hopefully will love it even more once we get the drip to stop.

For the price of this product, I had high expectations, but I've had this for about a year and already it leaks. You have to find the "sweet spot" to actually shut off the steady stream of water that drips. Clearly there is a design flaw if the ball and/or seals fail this quickly. The other difficulty is trying to find information on how to repair this. Very frustrating.

This faucet has a beautiful finish and look. Installation was very easy. Delta faucets are recommended by plumbers due to their functionality and warranty. We were afraid we couldn't find a replacement because the house we bought was 7 years old. The previous owners removed the flow restrictor and voided the warranty so we had to replace the faucet at our expense. It's nice to know Delta keeps their product line running for a long time.

I replaced a Kohler faucet with this Delta 978-DST. I'm very satisfied. I bought the faucet through a plumbing service company, which also did the installation. I could have installed it myself, but the plumber did it in maybe one-third the time and pointed out things that I might have missed - e.g, greasing all threaded parts, how to remove and clean the aerator (which takes a special wrench that is supplied), how to replace the valve cartridge, and basically how the whole faucet goes together. Plus, I hate lying on my back under a sink. There was an earlier comment that rinsing dishes with the sprayer would cause you to get sprayed, too. Just reduce the flow setting on the control lever, and you will stay dry. The pull-down sprayer is the cat's meow. The sprayer that came with our Kohler (6 years ago) was almost unusable - it wouldn't retract and the hose below the sink would tangle up. (Probably the newer Kohler models are improved?)

Love the look of this faucet. I am a loyal Delta purchasers and was thrilled when the plumber suggest I buy another one as he is a big fan of them for their reliability.

just the look i wanted for my new faucet to go with new countertop. water pressure is better than i expected from some reviews.

Had a very difficult time finding this specific faucet until I went on line at Home Depot. It arrived with in 3 days and was half the price I was expecting. Great quality, looks fabulous, overall a very very satisfactory purchase.

Just know that the handle mount design is terrible. The mounting bolt screws into the bottom of the valve (plastic). Tightening the nut will back the mounting bolt out of the valve. If you do get it tight, over time it starts to back out and is just a poor design. Save yourself some trouble and pass this one up.

I love our new faucet. The pull down and spray feature work very well, it is attractive, and the separate hot/cold lever are very accessible.

Purchased for a kitchen remodel project. I love the look of the faucet and the separate handle and pull-down spray features. The soap dispenser also works well. However, the shut-off began to be a problem almost immediately. The faucet continued to run, not drip but run, after shutting off by pulling the handle forward. I learned to manipulate it to get it to shut off completely by pushing the handle back to the full cold position, then rotating it right & forward. However, even then there was some leaking at the handle for a few seconds. I called warranty support and was sent a new handle cartridge. But I will have to call a plumber and pay him to install it, so it will add to the cost of the faucet, which was not inexpensive in the first place.

I work for a New Residential plumbing company and we install these faucets, along with the Leland Single hole Kitchen Faucet, in half of the houses we have. We have never had any warranty calls or any issues with this faucet. I highly recommend it.

We were looking for a faucet to replace an existing 3 hole installation and looked at a wide range of options before selecting the Delta Leland. It was very easy to install (removing the old faucet was a bear, but no fault of the Delta), and it looks and works great. Elegant, smooth to operate, right amount of water pressure. The pull-down sprayer is super convenient. We have a family of 8 who is hard on everything, and after a month of use, everyone loves the faucet and it continues to work great. I strongly recommend it.

Moved into a new house in June and had to replace the kitchen faucet.....pick another brand, which broke in 6 weeks!!!!....bought Delta this time and glad I did....works great!!!!

Have had this faucet installed for several years and love the features and the use of this faucet. Have started to have an issue with this faucet turning off and dripping.

We are having it installed today by a plumber. We just moved in to this house and my husband didn't have the right tools and he is not especially hand. Looking forward to having it installed properly

The faucet is exactly as pictured and is very solid. The sprayer pulls down easily and re-attaches with a firm 'snap' as the magnets engage. We're very happy with it so far (one month of use). Ours was installed by a plumber who seemed to have no problem with it.

AESTHETICS and SIZE: This is a very nice looking faucet. The base has a very pretty shape that softens the look of the faucet. The handle, which is installed on the counterop, is very pretty. The faucet is medium-sized and the top of the gooseneck comes to just above the window sill (my window is at normal height for a kitchen window). I have not had any problems getting any large items under the faucet to wash. The chrome finish is fine and matches the chrome soap dispensers I purchased (a different brand than the faucet). COMFORT of USE: The faucet handle is comfortable to use and the gooseneck moves slowly and stays in place. I have arthritis in my hands and the handle is substantial enough that it does not hurt me to grab. The handle moves smoothly and does not stick. The button to switch from regular stream to spray mode is large enough, convenient, and easy to use. PERFORMANCE: The faucet has an excellent flow and goes between Hot and Cold with plenty of Warm in between. (I believe this is good precision, as another faucet I have on another sink pretty much has only "Hot" and "Cold" and it is difficult to predict where you have to move the faucet handle to get either). I have had the faucet a few months and the sprayer head locks into the gooseneck consistently so far. SPRAYER: The biggest issue I have with this faucet is the sprayer. I cannot use the sprayer to rinse any dishes without getting completely soaked in the front. Therefore, I have decided to return the faucet and replace it with something else. Unfortunately, the replacement faucet is not as good-looking as this one, but this is an important feature to me. SUMMARY: This is a REALLY good faucet for the price (2015: $159.82) and if you do not use the sprayer to rinse dishes, I would say you will love this faucet. Excellent value for the money though I hope Delta corrects the sprayer issue.

Easy installation. Looks great & works fine. Better than anything I could buy locally. The pull down feature has a moveable weight on it so it moves back into position easily & the magnet holds it perfectly in place. That's a much better design than other faucets had.
