Extremely powerful, rips through 1/4" steel like butter. Ergonomic and easy to control. Feels really solid and reliable.

Good saw, cuts as straight as the guy using it. Shame home depot doesn't stock the saw or blades in their stores. Got the swag stand for it and love it.

I'd been using my lathe to try to part 3" mild steel and I was successful maybe 80% of the time. Then I saw this and decided to give it a try with the part still in the chuck. Man it cuts thru those 3" solid 1018 CR steel bars like butter. Took all of 7 minutes with just gently resting it on the material and letting it do the rest. Doesn't even get hot and the blade is thin enough not to waste more than is needed. Highly recommend.

Excellent tool. I expected DeWalt reliability and was not dissapointed. Makes consistent,accurate cuts on mild steel easy. Great for clean accurate angle cuts on steel angle iron. Very pleased.

Great portable band saw with light work blade. Comes in sturdy work case too.

It is a great product, I just wish that it my converter would run it, but the amps are just a bit too high, so you must have electric wherever you are planning on using it, or a generator, not a converter.

The variable speed feature is very nice. The saw blade provided wore out rather quickly. It was somewhat difficult to cut a straight 45 degree angle on tubing until you get the hang of it.

WOW Good price, it is easy to use, easy to keep the cut on track, easy to replace the blade.

We use these exclusively at work, because the other brand isn't as powerful and don't last as long as the Dewalt.

REALLY USEFULL AROUND THE JOBSITE,WELL MADE,I LITTLE ON THE HEAVY SIDE IN COMPARISON WITH MILWAKEE.

Got this when it was on sale and couldn't be happier with it. Cuts through everything with ease.

I have no idea how well it works or not. I ordered it as a gift for my nephew, the engineer with a Master's Degree. I don't do tools.

It works really nice and is well balanced. The only bad thing was the original blade only made 4 cuts before the teeth came off.

This saw really has changed my job in a great way. The band saw cut everything in its way and the battery life is great. I work on multiple job sites and dropped the saw, its put through tough conditions and still working amazing. I suggest this for everyone.

I was torn between this one and one of the other brands sold here...I decided on this one for 3 reasons... #1: The Dewalt has an LED worklight on it, #2:The end guards have nice rubber bumpers on them , and #3 the end guards are replaceable if you do somehow damage them.... It's nice that this one has the adjustable front handle to make things a balanced as possible...It's important to be comfortable so you can actually focus on the cut instead of how you're holing the tool.... Whent you're done cutting, it's got a burly hook on the side so you can hang it on someting... One thing they dont really mention either is that the LED can be switched on or off regardless of blade activity, another plus. ...One last thing, if you purchase this at Home Depot, it comes WITH the plastic case (read reviews elsewhere to see why that's important) another huge plus for occasional users!
