        A:  The differences are the year of manufacture and that some part numbers for replacement parts are different. Also we can't determine what type is this model since the type comes randomly in the tool itself after buying it.

              A:  I would not apply any oil to the blade. It would spray oil all over your saw. I've used mine several times and it never required anything to help it cut through. I hope this helps!!
