I used this grout on my bathroom floor and it absolutely damaged my tile . Mind you I only have used this grout on the “life proof porceline wood tile “ I bought and the two dont go hand in hand together . This grout imeadatley damges the tile leaving the shadow wood color tile I bought to look more dull and a looks like a tint of blue now when the light hits it . I scrubed the tile four times with everything recommend and it barely came off . I now have to rip up the tile and redue it again . This time not with home cheapo tile and grout . Spending the money at a actual tile company with good grout will save aggravation .....lesson learned ! The picture shows what the tile to right closest to vanity should look like ( that section not grouted yet ) and to the left is the damaged tile .

We used this product on a shower floor after reading multiple reviews. The color is great, however it is not holding up. When the shower is used, the grout softens to a sand like texture and you can move it around with just your finger. I’m not sure why this is happening. I did remove the grout, and start all over again, but within just a few weeks the same result.

I just love his easy and ready to use this grout is buying it premixed is such a time saver. I got this container to redo the grout in my kitchen I'm going to tell you a little tip that helped me tremendously and saved me a lot of grout. Instead of using a trowel I used my fingertips time apply the grout it worked great and it was quick. Also the color of the grout works really good with many colors of tile.

I have used their products before. I will only trust it to do the job.

Goes on smoothly and was the right color . I needed this to match the rest of the grout it matched up to the existing floor. Great product.

Got what I expected from Home Depot, a high quality product that was easy to use and looks good. (The easy to use and looks good depends on your abilities though.)

Horrible mistake using it. Literally ran down the wall. Have to regrout the entire wall. And was definitely not bright white! Don’t waste your money and time

NO MIXING!!! The pictures say it all. Very easy to work and clean up with out the hassle of mixing and there is no left over to dump or "Ooops. I mixed too much." Good shelf life so it can be stored until the next project comes along.

We put up our own backsplash start to finish in the kitchen. I was afraid of the project but it turned out amazing! I underestimated how much grout to buy but followed up with the gallon size that finished the job and made it easy. It was easy to put on and take off. Both cartons matched so you couldn’t tell I used two. Clean up was also easy. I love the finished project.

This product did the job. It was a little bit more difficult to clean up versus the “mixing yourself” grout. It seemed to dry much faster. All in all once cured it’s a beautiful color and a great finish. I would recommend for a small job, if you are doing more than 30 cubic ft I would get the non pre mixed grout.

So easy to put down and spread. Perfect color for my job.

this premade grout is awesome. just mix it a little before use. unlike traditional grout where you mix. this is consistent throughout . i recently did a mozaic backsplash in a kitchen. great part after you do a 3 by 3 section you can immediately wipe with sponges in cicular motion and wont have haze

Ready to use goes on great and drys to the color shown. I would use this product again.

"Simple Grout Pre-Mixed Grout". Label says Bright White but the grout in the bucket is mixed with shades of Gray. Serious lack of quality. Buyer beware.

I used this grout per customer's request. I followed the directions and did not add anything to thin or otherwise. After it dried it had left little dimples or little sink holes in the grout, places for water to get through, literally hundreds of them, like it had shrunk, also left cracks around the perimeter. I have pictures. I sent the manufacturer a message through their website 2 times, days apart asking what I should do and never received an answer, I got no customer service. I am just going to go over the floor one more time I guess. I have always used the masonry type grout, I think I will just stick with that from now on.

Tile contractor has used the powder many times, but this was first time with Pre-Mixed. I purchased two gallons to try, we're doing four new bathrooms. Unfortunately, the product began falling out as he was wiping down for the first time. He spoke w/factory rep and was walked through the steps to use (he's been a tile contractor for 19 years). No resolution there. He ended up removing three walls of product so he could start over. Total waste of a day. We've gone ahead and ordered bags of powder (Alabaster not carried in store!) to redo correctly. I've not been able to get a refund from Home Depot because we used so much of the two gallons. It's now a warranty issue. I've sent pics to technical support, made a follow-up call which resulted in a 45 minute wait on line. I want my money back, particularly since we've purchased the powder version anyway. No response from "John" at Custom Building Products. Very frustrated.

Love it! Looks great and easy clean up. Just need to find the courage to caulk.

It's easy to use. You don't even have to add water to it the finish results are amazing

I've laid tile on walls , floors ceilings , pools , bbq's etc since 1979 and ran across this stuff yesterday . Its horrible to work with , all i was grouting was about 10 sq ft on the walls on a bay window behind our kitchen sink . It was a gift for my bride of 40 years for CHRIST MAS . I started applying the grout with a grout float , it was very thick and chalky and difficult to move around like the bagged grout I've used for years . i got about 2 ft up the wall and noticed it drying fast on the face of the tile so i decided to sponge it real quick and make my first pass on the joints too . The joints were pretty fresh and the tile was tough to scrub off with a well rung out sponge . I repeated the process on the 2nd half up the wall and when i went to sponge the second pass on the bottom it had clear run lines everywhere from the acrylic . I scrubbed and scrubbed for the next several hours it was horrible . It was 3 ft from the face of the cabinets and 8 ft tall to the ceiling standing on a step ladder with 1 foot and the other on the counter with my head hitting the ceiling . Every time i made a pass the acrylic runs would come back . Finally i got some towels and started detailing the tile dry and scraping the tougher spots my finger nails and a small putty knife no more water . The tile looked pretty good this morning only a few spots but the joints look horrible, luck for me they are low so i'll re grout today with the bagged grout i just bought . I took fancy grout back to the store and WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS GROUT TO ANYBODY ! by the way this is the first review I've ever left on a product , MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOD BLESS !

Great quality but mix is a little dry and flow in is difficult. Color is great, texture is great,.

I put this grout down and let it cure for 7 days. This was recommended by Home Depot. It lasted 4 days and grout has started to erode. Tiles are still secure. This product is no good.

This product is exactly what I was looking for when I tiled my bathroom floor a couple of months ago. It's convenient, easy to use and the color is spot on. What I did not anticipate was the tenacity of the residual grout haze. I tried several commercial grout haze removers and a few, mix your own, I found on the web. Reluctantly, after several failed attempts, I used acetone. Having used it in the past I understand it is highly combustable with toxic vapors. With this understanding I cleaned one tile at a time assuring I had adequate ventilation. If you do not mind the cleanup this grout is definately the way to go. I'm sure their is an easier way to remove the haze, as I'm an amature, but in the future I will go back to the "dry powder mix." After the haze was removed my bathroom floor is lovely and my remodel is finished.

I love this because it's pre-mixed it doesn't Harden right away you don't have to make only what you're going to use you can put the top on and use it later and buckets are great when you're done I'm doing my whole house and tile myself

Buy this product if you want crqppy results. First this product is so thick and gritty. Then the "cleanup" is awful. I had to take a razor to scrap the tile. It was not a simple wipe down as the instructions suggest. Stay away

My contractor loved using this product . The premixed was a good choice. We used the grout on the new subway tile backsplash that was installed in my kitchen . Very Happy with the premixed grout. I would recommend this product to anyone for the job !

Very disappointed in this product. Ruined the look of the shower remodel. It's not just sanded...it's heavily sanded. Very difficult to work with even for someone who has been doing this for years. And it is most definitely not bright white. So much time and effort and money went into this bathroom remodel only to be disappointed in the final look.

We had a contractor tile our shower and we purchased the bright white grout to use with white subway tile. The end result is just ok. The bright white is more of a cream color so it looks slightly dirty. It is also very sandy. Do not use if you want true white that has a smooth result.
