Hard to work into spaces and scratched tiles

Hard to wipe away… leaves haze. Crumbles. I’m nervous of how it will last overtime. Oh and it’s not bright white. Looks grey. See my picture attached.

Purchased this product in charcole to finish off my tile, I was very excited to try this pre mixed option as a time saver. WORST MISTAKE!!! I'd grouted the tile as normal and at the recommended wipe time, when I took my damp sponge to begin wiping away the access it just would not come up. Ive tried vinegar, cement haze remover, not cement haze remover and NOTHING has helped. I am going to have to rip up my floors and start over. In the photos you can see the original color of the tile vs now

I was a little hesitant to use a pre-mixed grout on our remodeling effort because of various comments. However, I gave it a try and was very happy with the results. Yes, I agree that you should work small batches at a time because it does tend to dry quicker then mixed grout but with several buckets of water and sponge, it made removing easier.

Dont buy. Comes pretty dry. Really really hard to clean up. Just buy the dry powder and mix. Way easier to clean than this crap. Waste of money.

This Simple Grout worked just as advertised. I only had to lightly mix the container and the color was spot on.

I read reviews on this product and the main complaint was the difficulty in removing the remaining haze and excess grout after application. The product requires a 4 hour waiting period before removing the haze with a dry cloth. Well, it does not work!!!! I purchased some non-cement haze remover from custom building products at The Home Depot and it came off with moderate scrubbing. So, if you're willing to get shredded by scrubbing tiles for couple days, this product is for you.

Cannot stress enough the poor quality of this grout. Tiled over 2 years ago, had issues with the grout on the floor popping out in chunks. Emailed company back then-completely rude, tried to put the entire blame on me. Now, 2 years later, chunks are coming out in the wall where it DOES NOT SPRAY CONTINUALLY. When it gets wet, it gets soft-DOES NOT HAVE A SEALER! Company was so rude to me back then, there is no way I’m going to try to speak to them now. I will NEVER use this brand again.

This grout worked as expected. It is premixed so no worries about the right consistency. The finished product looks amazing.

Very easy to use. No need to stir. It truly is ready to use. Container is super convenient. I love the color and it’s sanded just like regular grout and it goes so far that you can buy the bag to mix yourself and yeah that is 25# but this bucket was a little spendy but I did one tub walls and didn’t even use half the bucket. I would completely spend the 30 to get another bucket.

First time grouting, easy to use!

This is great to use for a small project. I told a backslash behind my sink in my bathroom. I recommend mixing it up a bit before using as the top was a little dry and was already starting to garden before i could wipe with a sponge.

I’ve always used bagged grout, but wanted to save time so I decided to give this a shot. Not sure if it’s the additives they use to make it, or what, but the film left behind it would not wipe up. Switched to bagged and finished without incident

A family member reccomended this product to install based on his experience installing grout. Its easy to apply, and if you stay on top of wioingnoff excess the process is quick and easy. So far i like the way it looks, although it dries a lot lighter than the color on the bucket which im fine with. Well see how it holds up.

I have done a lot of tile projects in the past. This is the first time I used this grout and definitely the last. It went on normal but when I went to sponge off the excess, the color started to weep out of the joints along with this yellow oily substance leaving a golden sand color in the joints. No other grout ever did this to me before. I’m spending basically a full day painting the grout lines with this company’s grout renew to try to save the project. Looked like someone came in and peed on the walls as I was wiping the joints. Do yourself a favor, use a different grout company because this is garbage.

This "bright white" grout ruined my backsplash! It looks like I went to the beach and used sand for grout! Don't waste your money use another product!

I have been doing tile work for 20+ years, and have used pre mixed grout with good results. However today using Simple Grout, from Home Depot it was a disaster. After Appling the grout, I wiping it down within 45 minutes. About 1/2 hour later a yellow film and streaks appeared. (see Photos) Normally you would just wipe it with a damp sponge and it would look like new. However in this case they were very hard to clean, and the dried film would not clean up no matter how hard I scrubbed. This was grey grout on white kitchen backsplash. It also stained brand new white countertops.

Was on hands and knees for hours trying to clean the tiles and trying to remove the haze.. the grout looks like we peed all over it. Hoping the grout haze remover will work.

Very good product best tip fpr installation just dont be scared of it work in small sections then clean up as you go

Grouting for the first time in my life and this stuff was all over the floor. I mixed it and it was so sandy that I couldn’t even spread it. I was patching some failing grout in the shower that was white. This stuff is supposed to be Bright White and it is GREY! Do not buy this. I’m going to have to re-do my work.

This product was easy to use and finished my tile project beautifully.

I used this to re-grout an older style 5x5 tiled shower wall. The instructions left out a lot of details as there are differences in grouts that are available. I decided to break up the job into one small wall at a time rather than try to do the whole shower. It turned out this stuff was trying to dry on me even before I finished the smallest wall, and I had a helper and was working as fast as I could. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if I had larger tiles (less gaps to fill), and smoother tiles, or perhaps used a different float technique. (Would it have killed the manufacturer to do a video, or write out a full set of instructions on using this stuff?) The super fast drying made it so that I couldn't scrape enough excess grout off with the float, and I had to sponge off the excess, rapidly setting up, grout off the tile surfaces and using a wetter sponge than I should. The grout initially looked okay, but after about 1/2 hour it had developed pinholes throughout my entire shower wall. If you've got this stuff, throw it in the trash. Whatever you do, don't try to use it on your tile.

Never using premixed sanded grout. Used natural gray on floor planks white subway tiles on the walls and when grout dried left yellowish shade in the grout. Tried grout cleaner and nothing removed the yellowing. Will have to use tile stain to get the yellowing shade out

I'm no professional, but this pre-mixed grout applied easily, and not messy, the color looks good, so I'm good with it.

I am a first time tiler most of it fell on the floor and it was extremely sanded. My father who was a professional tiler looked at it and said this stuff will not work and we have to scrape it all out. This premixed grout is mis-advertised. Do not buy it. It should be taken off the shelves. This is not what grout should look like. Alabaster

This is the worst grout i have ever used, it doesn't get cleaned even after 20 minutes of using it in a tile that is non-slippery surface (a little rough surface), it fell down and didn't get solid in some parts of the applied area. When you work with it, most of it falls in the ground. I dont know what to say about this product (gave me headache with the customer), check the photoes before and after grouting. Circled in green is the part where it fell down, and also you can see the red/brownish color all over the tiles that was cause from my strugle to clean the tiles from the grout and still didnt succes (check the color of the tile before and after grouting, you can tell the difference easily).

It doesn't say sanded, but it is. It does not hold it's color when applied, instead it stains the tile. What a mess! I need to start over!
