I loooove this fan! I painted the blades when I got it since they were an odd sage / tan color itself of being a cream color like in the image but it came out beautifully! Moves a ton of air also!

Installed today, looks even better than I imagined. I initially thought the blades would be more vanilla or creme colored, but to my surprise they are more of a faint olive green color (at least mine are). Perfect! It blends in with the greenery :-)

Yes, like others I bought this because the online pictures make it look like a light colored cream or beige. Some of the reviews said it had a greenish tint. Well I thought I can live with a slight green tint. No it is definitely an Olive green. The fan is very pretty other than the color and moves a lot of air. The fan is reasonably priced. My husband likes it, so it is not going back. It’s hard to find nice leaf blade fans. I intend to paint the blades to match my cream furniture.

I moved into a smaller home, and wanted to do a coastal style home, this was the fan that caught my eye. It was sold out, and there didn’t seem to be one anywhere. A couple of months later, when looking on Home Depot for something else,, this popped up as available. Fifteen minutes later, I had bought two of them. It just is perfect, the color is a light driftwood, and it makes me think of the beach! The perfect choice, soundless, easy installation, it just does’t get any better!

Sooooo beautiful. Everyone who has seen them in my home loves them. Amazing color! I couldn't be happier. Only issue is you went really super cheap on plastic wireless controls for fans. Should have left a good thing alone.

Really pleased with this purchase.

We love this 56" fan but purchased it due to the color depicted on-line. After delivery we were disappointed that the color was an olive-greenish and not the off- white as the photo. So we just painted the fan blades, using Behr Satin, and now we have the exact off-white color, matching our decor. Significantly more air movement than the previous Hampton Bay fan, easy install. Great fan!

Great fan at an excellent price.

This is a beautiful ceiling fan! I got the larger size and put it up in our loft. We had it professionally installed through a Home Depot installer -- he did an amazing install job on this fan and another different fan we had installed in a bedroom. This leaf fan does not wobble, it is silent, gives off good air -- but not great amazing air flow because the leaves are big. They are not wooden but rather plastic but they look like wood. I rate this fan for looks a 12 & for functionality and 8+.

This fan is beautifully built. Gives a decent anount of air flow but is not the most powerful fan I have owned. I would recomend anyone who wants a very good looking fan with a good amount of air flow. Also I mounted this with a canopy mount and a two foot down rod. Took a bit extra work but it doesnt wable or make nois like the old fan

Beautiful ceiling fan with light. Installation went well and it looks great in my living took. Matches my current light fixtures well. I highly recommend, keep large family room cool.

Beautiful fan with great airspeed. The only down side is the glass covering the light bulbs is very thin. Mine came broken, and I couldn't find a number to contact the company for a replacement. I tried finding a covering at HD store but none fit properly, so the pull string for the fan gets caught.

Had this fan for about 6 months and now the motor is making a grinding noise. Would not recommend this fan.

I Love my Costa Mesa 56 Inch Fan. I added a 24 in down rod because I have high vaulted ceilings that are on a slant. The install was quick and easy.

There was a fan already in place so it was an easy task to swap out the fans. Living room looks 100% better with the new fan. Ordered on-line and picked it up at the store. No problems with that process.

Seems to be very well made...a little harder to install than cheaper fans...but well worth it. Installed two (2) in a master bedroom...the look is nice.

I purchased this fan for the living room and I could not be more happy! It is well made and installed easily. This is a beautiful fan, it is extremely quiet and moves a lot of air. My only complaint (and it really isn't that big of a deal) is that there are stickers on the backside of each blade. Typically no one would see them but in my house when I'm in the kitchen I can see the topside of the blades. Removing the stickers was difficult and I had to use some solvent to remove the glue, the solvent removed the stain on the wood. No big deal, I will just touch it up. I would recommend they not put stickers on the blades.

I am happy with it. It looks good in my living room.

We had the fans professionally installed in a large room we are renovating. There were absolutely no issues whatsoever with any detail relating to the fans. They arrived quickly, there was no damaged or missing parts, the fans installed easily, the airflow is just fine and the lights are very suitable for our needs. These fans are beautiful - we just stand and stare at them. I could not be more satisfied!

Fan looks great, easy to install and works fine (moves a lot of air) -- BUT despite the promise on the package, ours wobbles a LOT. And there is no balancing kit included; the manual says if it wobbles, call them and they will mail you a kit (two weights plus a plastic clip, maybe 10 cents of materials) within 10 days. Ours is mounted on a 10-foot ceiling too high for me to reach, so we need to get our installer to make a return visit to balance it. If the fan had come with that 10-cent kit included, it could have been fixed immediately by the installer ... and that turned a five-star fan into a frustrating two-star.

I had this installed in the Vacation home. A professional installed it so I cannot comment on ease of installation. I can comment on the look, I love it. I bought one previously for my mother's apartment and loved the look so went the extra mile to find one like it.

Okay, first, I was really worried that this fan was way to heavy, but it wasn't. The fan blades are actually light! Second, it was tough to put together (example: husband cursing and having to take things back apart, reassemble and cursing whoever designed it). Third, the chain coming down through the lights...why does it have to touch the bulb? Seriously? That's a little scary! All the designer had to do, was have the light fixture turn a few inches, then the chain would never touch the bulb. Why make the chain come through the light anyway? Normally, they are out the side, NOT through. Anyway, the fan puts out some GREAT air flow! OMG! I had to get up and turn it down to low. We put it in the master bedroom of one of our florida condos. Actually, it was probably a bit big for the room, but it looks great and has great air flow, so I can't complain. The 4 star rating was because of the not-so-easy installation and the chain coming through the light. It's a good thing we didn't use the bulbs that came with it, because when they go, our property manager (62 year old lady) would have had to hire a maintenance man to change the bulb. So, def. go with LED instead.

This fan was easy and quick to install. This is our second fan we purchased from this manufacturer. Everyone who has seen our fans love them. My sister who lives in Las Vegas even bought one of these for her home out there. Absolutely love them.

This fan and light looks great in our living room. Installation was fairly easy since it was replacing an existing fan and light, so the wiring and box were already in place. We installed on a ten foot ceiling. Because of the size and weight of the fan, it's helpful to have a second person spot you on the ladder. I love the tropical look of this fan. Another review complained about stickers on the top side of the blade, but nobody sees the top of the blades anyway, so for me that wasn't an issue. This is by far the best tropical fan for the money out there. Very happy with this purchase.

Not enough power. Previous 15 year old fan that was taken down had more air flow. Light kit had to be assembled - not your easy one plug design. Of course, not enough light. Not worth the price paid. Aesthetically beautiful.

I purchased and installed 3 Costa Mesa 56" Fans in the bronze finish with dark wood blades. In my new house's great room, dining room and one for the Lanai. They are rated for damp locations so the Lanai installation worked. The 3 fans all matched and tied in the 3 areas. The installation instructions were easy to follow and all necessary parts were included. I did not use the included light kits as I did not need them. I shopped for fans with all wood blades in the tropical leaf motif extensively in the Naples FL area. The least expensive option was to purchase a fan motor and wood blades package @ $200 for the blades and $259 for the motor. With tax The Costa Mesa Fan from Home Depot was $201. That is a tremendous value. They work great, they look great, and I could not beat the price. These fans worked for me and I am confident they would work for you.

Beautiful, stylish, elegant, and simply the best product on the market. It must have made a great impression on us, we have since bought (5) more since our first purchase.
