Would not stick to exterior paint even after cleaning

They stick very well to the metal facia board covering I have on my house; however, we had trouble getting them to stick to the wood on the bottom side of the roofing.

C9 lights too heavy and it really doesnt stick. Would not recommend this product for outdoor use.

Great product BUT White adhesive strip shows through clear hook. If you’re going to attach to a dark surface such as a railing you may want to order separate package of CLEAR adhesive strips. Store SKU #1002089227 Internet #300341380 1 x $3.24 $3.24

Easy to use. Strong enough to hold lights in place. I have had it for three years or so. The product meets my expectation.

Has this product been changed? A couple of years ago I used them to hang a string of Edison bulbs on my pool cage without a problem. Our cage was destroyed in the hurricane and I tried to hang them on the new one. I've now gone through 5 packages and they just don't stick. I checked with the builder to see if the cage is treated with a coating and he said no.

Within a few hours of hanging the lights for clips had already fallen off, and as the days go on more have fallen off.

I followed the instructions exactly. We have lights that are heavier. The clips held fine to the vinyl fencing, and the aluminum railing but fell off the painted wood beam across the top of our porch. It’s a newer house so the paint was not in disrepair. They just couldn’t hold the weight of the lights on the wood beam. We ended up using them on the vinyl and aluminum but had to use screw hooks on the wood.

The worst command clips I’ve bought. They don’t hold any weight & doesn’t stick to anything!

I returned this product because it didn’t hold up the lights; so frustrating!

Although the light set was easy to set up and the bulbs were the perfect "brightness", the entire string shorted and is no longer working after only 2 months.. I am returning it, hoping the next set I get as a replacement lasts much longer.
