A:  I used it on my metal pergola for the entire season with wind and rain and it never came off . I’m not sure about wood however it held my lights all summer and some of fall .

A:  They are WHITE. I bought some thick clear double sided tape which worked pretty well for my bronze screen room. When some of the clear tape let go, I switched to Scotch Extreme 30 lb tape which is black but was still invisible in my application.

A:  Thanks for asking! Our outdoor light clips are ideal for a vertical application and holding items of a couple of ounces. We have not tested for "underside" and due to gravity, we are not able to advise. We will be happy to forward your inquiry for future product testing. A:  Personally, I've used the HD Model #17017CLRAWVPES strips. Also, for both, you can span the clips closer together (say, every 12"). Just a thought.

A:  There shouldn't be much difference. If they hold well on the same type of surface when it's vertical then you should be fine. If your still concerned just use a few extras to reduce what each one is holding.

A:  Yes these are similar to any other indoor command stick ons. Follow the instructions on the box when needing to remove them and you should be fine.

The key is using both hands, keeping knuckles flush with the surface and stretching straight down 10-15".
